Although, he’s now one of gospel music’s Top Ten artists, Earnest Pugh, was largely unknown when he stepped out in faith and opened his own EPM Music label in April 2005. The CD debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart and the title song pushed Marvin Sapp’s “Never Would Have Made It” out of the top slot on the Hot Gospel Songs chart and held the position for six weeks. The CD ranked #6 on Billboard’s 2010 Year-End Chart and led to high-profile performances for Pugh on BET’s “Celebration of Gospel” and TBN’s “Praise The Lord” programs.
