The Pirogue Running Time: 87 Minutes May 1, 2 A group of African men leave Senegal in a pirogue captained by a local fisherman to undertake the treacherous crossing of the Atlantic to Spain where they believe better lives and prospects are waiting for them.

Vivan Las Antipodas! Running Time: 108 Minutes May 2, 4, 5 Antipodes refer to populations settled on precisely opposite sides of the globe, an exceedingly rare occurrence given the percentage of the Earth’s surface covered in water. Award-winning filmmaker Victor Kossakovsky uses the idea of antipodes to launch a dizzying and exuberant travelogue moving between Argentina and China, Russia and Chile, Botswana and Hawaii, Spain and New Zealand, illuminating uncanny continuities and disturbing disjunctions between the landscapes and cultures encountered there.
