edia Arts Center of San Diego is proud to present the 20th annual San Diego Latino Film Festival (SDLFF), taking place March 7 – 17, 2013, at the UltraStar Mission Valley Cinemas at Hazard Center. Throughout the years SDLFF attendees, filmmakers, writers, and actors have had the privilege of enjoying this eleven-day inspirational festival to celebrate the contributions of Latinos in film and media.

As the Latino community evolves, the SDLFF is no different. Twenty years ago the Latino Film Festival focused on improving the image of Latinos in the film and media. Today the SDLFF has become one of the largest well-respected Latino film festivals and leading cultural events in the nation – welcoming over 21,000 visitors each year.

Today, inspired business leaders have an opportunity to be a part of an entertaining, cultural, creative and educational experience benefiting Latinos and the San Diego community. The 2013 SDLFF will showcase the creative endeavors of Latinos in film, fashion, media, gaming and the opportunities available in creative industries. Presenting Sponsor

This sponsorship level provides your company with the prestige and recognition of being one of only two ‘presenters’ of the San Diego Latino Film Festival. Promotional opportunities include on-air radio and television exposure. The “Presenting Sponsor” logo and name is on the cover of all marketing materials, always first to be mentioned and Is the primary presence at all venues (i.e. company commercial prior to screening all films, large on-site presence for audience engagement, etc..). Past presenting sponsors include AT&T, Lincoln, U.T. San Diego, and State Farm Insurance. Cost: $50,000. Total promotional value $119,500

Screen Sponsor

A unique sponsorship package that will provide your company with an Incredible amount of visibility and exclusivity for minimal Investment. Enjoy promotional opportunities at the festival venue and on all marketing materials (i.e. brochure, website, souvenir program, etc). Your logo, brand and name is attached to all programs and activities taking place throughout the entire festival at one of the four screens/auditoriums (33 film programs total). As the ‘owner’ of a particular screen, your company can introduce all films, present on screen commercials, decorate auditorium with brand & much more! Past Screen Sponsors include Harrah’s Casino, Bank of America, Verizon, and University of Phoenix. Cost: $15,000. Total promotional value $32,000.

Showcase Sponsor

Every year SDLFF highlights certain countries and/or genres in a “Showcase”. Each “Showcase” includes 3-4 films, receptions, and/or seminars/workshops to be presented throughout the 11-day festival. Sponsorship opportunities are available for the following showcases :“Cine Mexicano”, “Cine Cubano”, “Cine Mujer”, “Cine Estudiantil”, “Para Ia Familia”, “Cine Espanol”, “Latinos on TV”, “Filmmaker Panel”, “Latino Webisodes”, “Mobile Media”, “Student Outreach Screenings”, “Latinos in Social Media” & “New Media & Entertainment”. Your company will be spotlighted anytime one of the “Showcase" films are screened and in all marketing materials (i.e. flyers, brochures, website, social networking sites, Souvenir Program, etc.) when a “Showcase” is mentioned. In Addition your company will be showcased during the year when one of the showcased films is shown for the Cinema en Tu ldioma monthly series. This sponsorship level provides your company with the opportunity to sponsor 1 of 3 of the festival’s most prestigious special events. The “Party Sponsor” logo and name Is always mentioned along with any announcement and/or marketing materials related to the celebrations. Due to the expanded length of the annual festival, we’ve included a unique “Centerpiece” celebration to take place at the half-way point of the festival. This sponsor level allows your company to place signage at party venue, giveaway branded swag to attendees ,speaking opportunities, & much more! Past “Party Sponsors” have included Disney, U.S. Grant Hotel, Stella Artois, Remy Martin, San Pasqual Tribe, & Macy’s. Cost: $10,000. Total promotional value $21,000.

SDLFF Is proud to offer this exciting sponsorship level for filmmakers participating the annual festival. Award winning filmmakers will receive cash prizes, product donations and commemorative statues/plaques. Anytime a specific award is announced and/or mentioned,“your” company will be highlighted. Choose an award that fits your company from the following categories: Best Narrative Feature (40 min.and longer), Best Documentary Feature (40 min. and longer), Best Documentary Short (under 40 min.), Best Narrative Short (under 40 min.), Best Experimental Work, Best Youth Work (For film and video works shot, directed and produced by youth under 18 years old), Best local Work (produced or directed by a current resident of San Diego I Tijuana Border Region), Best Student Work, “Audience Award” (popular ballot), and Best animated feature film. Judges to include internationally recognized filmmakers, celebrities, critics and film scholars. The Jury Chairperson will be a well-known and respected Latino celebrity/film producer (TBA) Past Award sponsors include: Disney, National University, Vene Movies, State Farm Insurance, and Lincoln. This sponsorship level provides your company with the unique opportunity to sponsor and present a particular film that connects directly to your brand or marketing goals (i.e. family film, music film, sports film, etc.). The “Film Sponsor” logo and name Is always mentioned when announcing the sponsored film/program. Past “Film Sponsors” have included Viejas Casino, Bank of America ,Macy’s, Northwest Mutual, New York Life, Union Bank of California and Sempra Energy. Cost: $3,000. Total promotional value $5,300.
