Mad Cow Theatre Now in its 24th season, Mad Cow Theatre is downtown Orlando’s destination for professional theatre. MCT was founded on the belief that the theatre is a dynamic and powerful means of social understanding, as well as a hugely entertaining art form. Through the combination of passionate, skillful acting and compelling, insightful writing, nurtured by an attentive and ever-changing process, Mad Cow presents entertaining works of theatre to an ever-widening audience — promoting, enhancing, and celebrating the human condition through art. ARLENE HUTTON (Playwright) is an American playwright, theatre artist and teacher. She is best-known for a trio of plays, set during and after the Second World War, known as The Nibroc Trilogy. The initial play of that trilogy, Last Train to Nibroc, was the first play to transfer from Fringe NYC to OffBroadway (the second to do so was the

hit musical Urinetown). Other works for which she is known include a one-act dramatic work about the aftermath of a sexual assault, I Dream Before I Take the Stand; a one-act musical drama set among the members of a Shaker community in the 19th Century, As It Is in Heaven; and a Holocaust-themed work, Letters to Sala, based on actual documents. She has also created plays for young audiences. Her work has won many awards. From The Nibroc Trilogy, Last Train to Nibroc received a 2000 New York Drama League Best Play nomination, See Rock City won the In the Spirit of America Award, and Gulf View Drive received L.A. Weekly and Ovation Award.
See Rock City PAUL BEDFORD (Set and Lighting Design) comes to Mad Cow after 27 years as enter-tainment production manager for Walt Disney World. He has also worked extensively for local and regional theatres as scenic/lghting designer, technical director, production manager, and stage manager. Paul also is a theatre adjudicator for thespian festivals as well as the Applause Awards. Paul also is part of the Super Bowl entertainment production team.

LISA BUCK (Properties Master) Set design: The Road to Mecca, Mrs. Warren’s Profession, Painting Churches, and Boesman and Lena (Mad Cow Theatre), Don Pasquale, Abduction from the Seraglio, and Carmina Burana (Orlando Opera), Madama Butterfly, II Barbiere di Siviglia, Tosca, The Magic Flute (Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra) and The Tender Land (UCF). Lisa studied painting at Parsons School of Design, Pratt Institute, and Cobalt Studios. She has won numerous awards for her painting and has written how-to-paint articles for North Light Publications.
SARA HUMBERT (Mrs. Brummett) Once called the “Carol Burnett of our living room,” Sara is thrilled to return to Mad Cow Theatre since playing Berta in Hedda Gabler. Favorite roles include: Madame Thernardier in Les Miserables, Olive in The Odd Couple - Female version, Mrs. White in Clue the Play, Penelope Pennywise in Urinetown and Annette in God of Carnage. Sara also works as critical care dietitian, is an avid snacker, teaches yoga (in a brewery) and bakes a 5 minute brownie mix in 3 minutes. Many thanks to her family and dog babies for their continued love and support.
HOLLY HILL (Costume Designer), a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill is an interior designer and textile designer. Her mother’s choreography inspired her love for dance. Through the years Holly has designed rugs and interiors for homes and businesses. Her respect for Mad Cow’s shows enticed her to share her creative talents as a costume designer. “Thank you, mom. ROSALIND KRABILL (May) is a second-year in the BFA Acting program at the University of Central Florida. She was last seen playing Robin in As It’s Written and in Ann Putnam in Moment 2 Moments production of The Crucible. Some of her other favorite productions include And Then There Were None (Vera), Hamlet (Ophelia), and A Wrinkle In Time (Meg).
JOHN HOLLEY (Stage Manager/ Sound Designer) is currently the Events Manager for Mad Cow Theatre. John worked professionally out of New York City for 12 years as an actor. He also event managed Google’s NYC office for 4 years. Having grown up in Brandon, FL John is thrilled to be making his home now with his two best gals, wife Melanie and daughter Cora in Ocoee, FL!

MARYLIN MCGINNIS (Mrs. Gill) recently performed in Orlando Shakes Playfest production of Last Ship to Proxima Centauri and 6 other Playfest productions. Recurring roles include Frances Ternan in Southern Winds Theatre’s Dickens Holiday Memories. Marylin has been seen at Garden Theatre in Flashdance -The Musical. She also played Kate in the touching play A Time to Go Walking at Dangerous Theatre as well as touring productions. She’s played Mrs. EynsfordHill in Pygmalion & Kitty in The Royal Family under Tony Simotes’ wonderful direction at Mad Cow Theatre. Performing 3 roles in the Central FL premiere of Women Playing Hamlet was great fun. Other plays include A Tuna Christmas, twice, playing 12 Roles. Leads at Gorilla Theatre in Tampa include; Isadora Duncan: A Life, Snakebit and Young Peoples Play Festival. She’s recently been featured in the short film Remember Paris, as the Mother of Ailene Wournos in the film Monster, Secret Files of Shelby Woo, America’s Most Wanted and several soap operas, Industrials and commercials. Marylin thanks her daughters Caitlin, Chloe and her husband and producing partner David McElroy for their amazing support!
TONY SIMOTES (Director) Former Artistic Director and Founder of Shakespeare & Company. Since arriving here in Orlando selected Directing credits at MCT: The Little Foxes, A View From the Bridge. Constellations, Heartbreak House, Fences, Hand to God, Painting Churches, Pride and Prejudice and The God Game. Fight Director for Orlando Shakes: The Three Musketeers, Henry IV, Macbeth and Twelfth Night, Hamlet, Shakespeare in Love and Antony and Cleopatra. SDC, AEA, SAG/ AFTRA. SETH THORNTON (Raliegh) is currently studying Acting at the University of Central Florida. Prior theatre credits include Much Ado About Nothing (Leonato) and 12 Angry Jurors (Juror #8). Seth would like to thank his family and friends for supporting him through it all. Seth likes listening to hip hop and is also an avid chess player.
SUSI RIVERA (Costume Designer) holds a degree in theatre from Boston University and in graphic design from Valencia College. Her theatre credits include, fable adaptation to stage, set and costume design. She performed in Mad Cow Theatre’s productions of Once
