Mad Cow Theatre Now in its 24th season, Mad Cow Theatre is downtown Orlando’s destination for professional theatre. MCT was founded on the belief that the theatre is a dynamic and powerful means of social understanding, as well as a hugely entertaining art form. The Royale K. LEO ANDERSON (Fish) is excited to be apart of this production and welcomed into the Mad Cow family. Recently seen in Pipeline as Omari . His theater lead credits : Rent, A Beautiful Thing. Ain’t misbehaving. Ultimate Storytime (original tour cast). Lion,Witch and Wardrobe(school tour). The Shadow Box to name a few. Other performance credits: Ballethnic Dance Company (Company member). Shanghai Disney Resort. Marion ballet Theatre (company artist), dance company of Gainesville. K. Leo is planning to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts next year. home. She is a Theater Arts graduate of East Carolina University. She moved to NYC, after receiving an internship at The Juilliard School. As a lighting designer and stage manager, she freelanced throughout NYC in Off Off-Broadway theater productions. Then as assistant to the managing director of Circle In The Square Theatre, a Broadway theater, production highlights include: The Rose Tattoo by Tennessee Williams starring Mercedes Ruehl; The Shadow Box by Michael Cristofer starring Marlo Thomas & Estelle Parsons; and The Grandparent Connection starring Sherry Glaser, Leonard Nimoy & Ben Vereen. Also, while in NYC, Debbie studied under Broadway lighting designers Jennifer Tipton and Howell Binkley; as well as, at NYU.
WILLIAM ANTHONY (Sound Design)William began a career in sound technology more than two decades ago as an apprentice to some of the top live sound engineers in the industry. After years of honing his craft in the corporate events industry, William got the opportunity to work as a sound designer and sound engineer for several musical theatre productions in the Central Florida area. His passion for music production and sound design joined with his technical skill proved to be a recipe for success and creative fulfillment. William continues to serve the Central Florida community through bringing value and artistic excellence to live productions.
LISA BUCK (Properties Master) Set design: The Road to Mecca, Mrs. Warren’s Profession, Painting Churches, and Boesman and Lena (Mad Cow Theatre), Don Pasquale, Abduction from the Seraglio, and Carmina Burana (Orlando Opera), Madama Butterfly, II Barbiere di Siviglia, Tosca, The Magic Flute (Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra) and The Tender Land (UCF). Lisa studied painting at Parsons School of Design, Pratt Institute, and Cobalt Studios. She has won numerous awards for her painting and has written how-to-paint articles for North Light Publications. SEGEN GEBREMARIAM-BUSH (Nina) formerly known as Segen Genesis, is an actor, model, and former Miss Eritrea USA. Born in Southwest

The Royale in The Studio Theater Tierra Del Sol’s production of Elegies, A Song Cycle. Prior to that, Robert served a nine-month contract with Disney Cruise Lines, working as a Mainstage Performer and portraying such notable characters as The Beast and Gaston (understudy) in DCL’s award winning musical adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. Justin received Bachelor’s degrees in opera performance and theater from Northwestern University in 2018, and would like to thank Mom, Dad, Jacen, and Hannah for their continued and unwavering love and emotional support throughout all of his performances.
Philadelphia, she was always focused on making a better life for herself and also where she stepped out of her comfort zone and embraced her artistic side, training in both dance and theatre. Moving to NY December 2015, she hit the ground running, booking her first role in Alicia Keys’ The Gospel. Segen has since moved to Atlanta, GA with her now husband, Rich Lowe, and expanded to feature films that are currently in production, screenwriting, and Television. You can see her in this season of Sistas on BET as Angela. Segen Gebremariam is charm, character, and personality that is larger than life. She transcends boundaries with her quick wit and vivacious enthusiasm and is a force to be reckoned with on and off the stage.
DR. JULIUS JOHN (Director) is an actor, educator, director, and producer who currently serves as an associate professor and director of theatre at Bethune Cookman University and an artistic director at Mad Cow Theatre. He has obtained credentials in London, as well as at the Drew Summer Shakespeare Institute at Rollins College and Elon College in North Carolina, where his (B.S.) degree encompassed the complementary fields of English, theatre, and music. He obtained his master of fine arts degree in acting from Western Illinois University and the Doctor of Educational Leadership from Gwynedd Mercy University. Dr. John has taught and directed theatrical productions at the collegiate level for close to twenty years. His second passion, fashion; has allowed him to serve as vice president for Fashion News Live and attend Mercedes Benz Fashion Week
ERIC CRAFT (Scenic Designer) is excited to return after designing set and lights for Heartbreak House, The Royal Family, The Little Foxes, Fun Home, and Outside Mullingar and sets for The Brothers Size, A View from the Bridge, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and Top Girls. Eric has worked in regional theater with Pioneer Theatre Company, Sacramento Theater Company, Utah Shakespeare Festival, and numerous others. He thanks his family for their support. JUSTIN DRESNER (Max) is thrilled to be returning to the stage with Mad Cow Theatre for The Royale. He was most recently seen as Toad in Mad Cow’s most recent production of A Year With Frog and Toad, and could also be seen

The Royale He began his work with SSC while he was resident designer for “The Orlando Theatre Project”, a nonprofit professional Equity company which was based for several years at SSC. However, in the Orlando theatre community he is best known as Janine’s father and Sage’s Grandpa.
all over the world where he has produced shows in New York, Miami, and LA for RLG, Productions. CARMEN HILL (Cotume Design) has 20 years of experience in costuming. She graduated from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale with a fashion design degree. She has worked for the Walt Disney World Costuming department for 17 years with extensive experience in resort convention shows, filming and park shows. Carmen has also done independent costume designer & wardrobe stylist roles in both the theatre and local church productions. As the lead costume designer her work includes being a patternmaker, stylist, seamstress & dresser for local theatre productions including Menopause the Musical, Rainmaker, All in the Timing, Body of Water, Souvenir, “I Do”. She volunteers in various local community opportunities plus missions abroad thru EuroRelief and is a licensed foster mother for unaccompanied minors.
RICH LOWE (Jay) Rich Lowe Bush III is an American born actor, singer, director, song writer, music/film producer and dancer. He is of Nigerian and Panamanian - Central American descent. In April 2015 Rich signed to BMG Chrysalis as a songwriter/producer. He was born Richard Bush III on August 10, 1991 in Brooklyn, NY. He was raised by his Grandmother Carrie Lee Davis, in the East NY section of Brooklyn. He began singing and acting at the age of 14, attending the ‘Brooklyn High School Of The Arts’ under the tutelage of his music teacher Mrs. Charlene Corbett-Thomas. Rich released an R&B album in Japan in 2017 entitled Love Traveler. In 2020, Rich released his 2nd album The 4th Law of Motion. Rich is currently working on his 3rd album. Outside of Rich’s notoriety as a singer/dancer, Rich began his professional acting career with a role in American Stage Theatre’s production of Marco Ramirez’s The Royale. Since then Rich has gone to lead or feature in multiple films. The Oratory which premiered in 2021 in Turin, Rome, Dublin, Ireland, London and Nigeria. Rich recently co-starred in and filmed
JERRY KLEIN (Lighting Design) Over the last 30 years in Orlando Jerry has provided lighting designs for the Civic Theatre (now the O-Rep), Theatre Downtown, Mad Cow (in all its locations), The Orlando Shakes (when it was the Festival), UCF, Valencia East, a touring production for the Orlando Opera, and others. He was a guest designer for the Seminole State College theatre program for 17 or so seasons.

MARCO RAMIREZ (Playwright) has had plays produced at The Kennedy Center, The Juilliard School, The Arsht Center, and Actors Theatre of Louisville’s Humana Festival of New American Plays (where he’s twice received the Heideman Award). TV writing credits include FX’s Sons of

Anarchy. He trained at both NYU and The Juilliard School. Started as a staff writer on Season 3 of FX’s Sons of Anarchy. He’s had plays produced at The Old Globe, The Humana Festival, and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. He and Stephanie Paul were nominated for a 2015 Joseph Jefferson Equity Award for Artistic Specialization for Rhythm and Percussion for The Royale at the American Theater Company in Chicago, Illinois.His play The Royale opened at Lincoln Center in March of 2016. The production won two Obie Awards, an Outer Critics Circle Award, and a Drama Desk Award.
