Description:

To develop an understanding of textile design through exploring color and shapes to create a marketable design, as well as developing intermediate skills in illustrator.

Solution:

I created Radio Ga Ga. I retro looking textile in which I used multiple different illustrator techniques to create my design.

Concept: Radio

Every decade as the music changed so did the technology playing it. With each decade came a different aesthetic and the technology design that came from it. Each brand had a unique look. Starring at the outside of classic radios it can transport someone to think of certain decades. The inside of the radio shows the complex parts of it. Thus, the mystery behind our favorite songs. Looking at the outsides of a radio one would not expect such a complex interior. Inside there are coils and wires on a circuit board all connected working together to play our favorite songs.
