MAEM in Poland Business Run
For the eighth time on the first Sunday of September, Polish companies from eight of our country's largest cities have joined together under the common slogan: 'You run - you help'. This is the leitmotif of the Poland Business Run, i.e. a run that combines good fun, integration and, above all, helping those in need. Last year, as many as seven thousand runners appeared at the Main Market Square in Krakow, and the competition took place on the same day in eight other Polish cities, including Warsaw, Poznan, Katowice and Wroclaw, bringing together over 27 thousand people.
This year's run was an exceptional event because, due to the epidemiological situation and the ban on mass events, the organisers decided to have a virtual form of fun. Thanks to the electronic application, the participants had the opportunity to run a distance of 4 km in any place for themselves.
For the first time MAEM Runners Team took part in the race. Thanks to the virtual formula we created a team consisting of employees of both company branches. The MAEM Poland Business Run took place near Oswiecim, where our Production and Logistics Centre is located, and Krakow, where MAEM's headquarters are located.
Poland Business Run is an event that fits perfectly into the MAEM philosophy. Since the beginning of the company's existence we have been taking part in charity actions with pleasure. By participating in the Poland Business Run,

just like other teams, we have helped beneficiaries with physical disabilities. The result of the team's participation, apart from the honourable place in the general classification, was good fun, a healthy Sunday and, what is most important, the awareness that we may have made someone in need receive the help they were waiting for.

There are no winners or loosers among the participants of the Poland Business Run. The winners are people in need, who, thanks to the joint involvement of thousands of runners, receive help and a chance for a better tomorrow. We congratulate the eight daredevils who have proudly represented us this year.
We promise to be at the start next year.
