PLAYER WELFARE / MEDICAL SERVICES • NUMBER 1 PRIORITY • Teams to decide whether their players are looked after the doctor of the team or the doctor of the facility • Be 100% available for Doping Control • The Head Injury Assessment (HIA) protocol will not be used
FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT • 3 ambulances permanently at the venue to evacuate injured players to the hospital • 1 medical pitchside tent • 1 medical room within the technical building to look after players involved in the current match day and those players not involved
PROCEDURE FOR INJURED PLAYERS 1. In case a player requires medical attention the physio / doctor of the team can enter the field at any time 2. The medical pitch side personnel goes into the field at the request of the physio / doctor 3. The Tournament Doctor diagnoses the player and decides to evacuate the player by ambulance if he/she needs further medical assistance. 4. From this moment on, the player must carry with him/her the accreditation at all times and be accompanied by a team representative. 5. The player is looked after at medical trailers located at Expo Ver or at Clínica Médica Cristal o Clínica San Luis. 6. The decision to operate on the player or making him/her stay at the hospital is taken based on the diagnosis, treatmen procedures, jointly by the Medical Services Director for the CACSO Games and an Official from the player’s delegation. 7. All costs in Mexico are covered by the CACSO Games.
MATCH MANAGEMENT START LIST
SHIRTS: NUMBER & COLOUR
• Before each game kicks off (with a deadline of 15 minutes before kick off), teams will hand to Information Services staff at the ground the Start List which will require confirmation from the International Technical Delegate.
• Players must carry the same shirt (number, name) at all times during the tournament – this is very important for doping control and media purposes. • Kind reminder to all managers whose teams must use the alternate shirt when assigned to do so after the colour clash review.
MATCH MANAGEMENT COIN TOSS
ARRIVAL TO THE FACILITIES
• Being done at half time of the previous match, in the tunnel that leads to the pitch • Can be done by captains or a team representative • In case a team does not show up, the team loses the coin toss • In case the two teams do not show up, the «local» team starts kicking from the left.
• Arrange the transportation with your Chef de Mission at your hotel. • The Training Facilities are at least 25 minutes private bus drive from the Hotel area.
MATCH PRESENTATION AND KICK OFF • Teams must be ready at the tunnel 2 minutes before kick off. • Half time is 2 minutes. • Teams leave the field near the warm up area. Players are kindly requested to be available for the media in the way out.

MATCH MANAGEMENT REPLACEMENTS
BLOOD REPLACEMENT
YELLOW/RED
• Requested to and done by the 4th/5th officials, with the authorisation of the referee. • The player on enters the field through the half way line, when play is over. • Each team will have 5 substitution card per game • The maximum number of substitutions is 5 • The player off cannot come back into the field, except for blood injury replacements or similar cases authorised by the referee as temporary replacement.
• Blood replacements are authorised if the tournament doctor confirms it is a blood injury • The blood injured player can reenter the field when authorised by the tournament doctor and as coordinated by the side line officials and referee. • There are 15 minutes for dressing or suturing and coming back into the field. • Suturing will be done at the Pitch Side Medical Tent.
• Yellow card: 2 minutes • Red card: off and required to appear before a JO • 3 yellow cards (same player): required to appear before the JO

FOOD
FILMING OF MATCHES
• Rugby has been informed by the Organising Committee that no food will be provided at the competition venue during the competition.
• Teams are permitted to film matches for analytical purposes. One camera only will be allowed, positioned in agreement with the Match Commissioner.
• It is strongly recommended that: o each Manager organises the food through the Chef of Mission from their National Olympic Committee and the designated hotel in order to have the food sent to the competition venue or prepared upon departure. o each team buys, by its own means like other sports are currently doing, food for both days at local stores.
SOCIAL MEDIA • All participants are reminded and requested to make good use (positive!) of social media when commenting about the tournament.
