THE PRINT SHOW
Hybrid Services, the exclusive distributor of Mimaki in the UK and Ireland, has revealed it will demonstrate a range of new print technology from Mimaki on its stand at The Print Show 2022. Visitors to the Hybrid Services stand in September will be able to view a number of Mimaki printers in action, including two of the new 330 Series; Mimaki’s latest platform that currently includes solvent print and printer/cutter solutions, plus a dye-sublimation model.
Featuring the two solvent machines at the event, Hybrid Services will demonstrate the significant productivity enhancements that the pair of 1.6m machines sport. Both models feature a new X/Y cutter, which provides inline X and Y axis sheet fed cutting. This eliminates unwinding and manual cutting from the workflow, helping printers to significantly speed up and streamline the post print process.
Another standout feature is the newly designed multi-media system that allows three rolls of media to be loaded simultaneously, greatly reducing the time and labour required to change print media. A single operator can bring the desired media into position simply by turning the handle on the media changer.
Hybrid Services reseller account manager Martin Southworth, said: “Mimaki once again pushes forwards with intuitive, cost effective, and high quality solutions; the two new 330 Series models offer significant advances to an already established technology.
“With Mimaki’s heritage in manufacturing dedicated solvent printers stretching back to the early 2000s with the launch of the sector defining JV3, the latest iteration in the ‘3’ lineage is the 330 platform.
Intec Printing Solutions, a global supplier of equipment for the print and graphic arts market, has revealed it will offer live demonstrations on a wide range of its machines at The Print Show 2022.
Highlights on the Intec stand will include the ColorCut FB9000, its flagship automatic digital die cutter, which will be running unattended. Visitors will be able to see first hand the type of work the machine can produce and the quality of these pieces.
Also due to appear on Intec’s stand in September is the popular ColorCut automatic sheet cutter, alongside the ColorCut LC600 ultra-fast, automatic label kiss cutting machine.
Visitors will also be able to view a number of Intec’s large format flatbed machines, with the manufacturer keen to showcase its large format cutting abilities, while it will also display and demonstrate the ColorFlare desktop and professional foiling and lamination machines, allowing users to add that extra sparkle to the sheets they are cutting.
The Print Show 2022 will be the first major industry event where Intec will exhibit under the Plockmatic Group umbrella, having been recently acquired by the group that also owns fellow exhibitor Morgana Systems.
“Being the only UK event for the industry, it is important that we are there,” said Terri Winstanley, Product and Marketing manager at Intec. “It ensures that we are able to engage with customers and industry professionals alike and to see what everyone has to offer.
“We’ve always supported The Print Show because it gets us out and in front of the most important people, the users of our equipment. It provides us with a chance to engage with other industry leaders and understand the industry focus and what the requirements and motivation is for the wider market.”
The Print Show 2022 will take place from September 20th to 22nd at the NEC in Birmingham. www.intecprinters.com • www.theprintshow.co.uk
