house on the ground is just a house. But treehouse living? It may seem like an idea in the realm of favorite childhood fantasies, but a family treehouse could be a reality for you. There are now increasing numbers of eco-friendly custom treehouses, which use only salvaged materials and equipment: Water is collected and recycled, photovoltaic panels provide electricity, and double-glazed windows make for comfortable and energy-efficient treehouse living. *Photo : Finca Bellavista treehouse A pair of expats in Costa Rica, Matt and Erica Hogan, are developing a 30-lot eco-village in paradise.

o you want to experience live theater on one of the greatest stages in the World? Come to New York City and see a Broadway show. Musicals, slapstick and drama have been performed on the Great White Way for decades and you are cheating yourself if you don’t take one in. Be a Tourist ! Of course it is okay to wait by the stage door for autographs. Remember though that the actors are there six nights a week (and twice on Saturdays and Wednesdays). Their routine is often to leave the theater quickly to avoid, what else, the Broadway theater traffic.

urora Borealis is a natural phenomenon that can paint the night sky with unearthly, surreal color. Most Northern Lights locations are found at high latitutes, meaning there is no darkness from mid-April until mid-August (even more in far northern locations like Svalbard). In the most intense Northern Lights area (notably Alaska, Yukon, Iceland and Northern Scandinavia), the lights are observed from late August to mid April. However, from late September to late March, it is dark after 6pm, and one enjoys maximum chances. Alaska, Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Russia, Sweden, are the best places to see her.

his bucket list is probably impossible. The only people likely to fill in the achieved star for this list are politicians, TV holiday show presenters for royality, and even these groups will still struggle. Even if you do manage to visit every country, new countries seem to appear every year. The best way to attempt this list is to visit as many countries as you can, enjoy yourself travelling the world, but mainly, have fun colouring the countries in.
