PATAGONIA The region of Patagonia usually refers to the narrow triangle of land south of a line between Puerto Montt in Chile, and Argentina’s Pensinsula Valdes. Separated by the continental icefields, the Chilean Patagonia includes the Carretera Austral, the region of Aysen and the southern regions of Torres del Paine National Park, Magallanes and Tierra del Fuego.
