Arroyo | LA Dodger Foundation Sunset Run
”
On Saturday September 28th, our key clubbers volunteered at the 2024 Los Angeles Dodger Foundation Sunset Run. This event took place at the beautiful and vast Dodger Stadium, as our seals helped out around the race course. There were many shifts
available, and our volunteers worked hard, handing out water to the runners as they passed the water stations. Our volunteers working at the start line divided the start line and sorted people into the different corrals to ensure a smooth start without any complications. Thank you for your diligence seals!
Baldwin Park | Lemonade Stand
When life gives Key Club lemons, we make lemonade! On September 13th, 2024, Key Clubbers organized a lemonade fundraiser! At 50 cents a cup, our board members and volunteers put together an after-school fundraiser to lower member dues for the club. With the pinkest of lemonade, many Baldwin Park customers left our stand with their drinks and shining smiles. From right after school to 5:30 pm, two hours of pure dedication to selling was displayed. With a $40.50 profit, the fundraised money gave Baldwin Park Key Club a great foundation to build upon for future fundraisers and activities for its members!

Monrovia | D35W Movie Night
Glendora | Lei Making DCM
”
“Last Saturday, October 5th, five of Monrovia’s members attended our division’s movie night at Del Haven Community Center in La Puente. This spooktacular event was a great way to start off the Halloween season while fundraising money for PTP by selling a variety of delicious goods like popcorn and baked spam musubi. Our members had a great time bonding over the movie (and the snacks), feeling nice and cozy in their pjs, and they can’t wait for the next one!
Glendora Key Club enjoyed ribbon and lei making at Arcadia County Park for this month’s DCM. Members earned valuable service hours while creating beautiful crafts and fostering club spirit. The event also included the first Spirit Session of the term, preparing everyone for Fall Rally South 2024. It was a great opportunity to fulfill division events and spirit session requirements!

Sierra Vista | Drone4Kids
“Drone for Kids was our club’s first community service event, held on Saturday, September 7th. Although our school hadn’t held club rush at the time, we still got a lot of members who attended. Members were split into groups. One helped kids with how to fly drones, another group helped at the prize booth, while another group made sure the drones didn’t fly out of the enclosure. At the end, all members helped clean up.
