Autumn fuss It was a typical autumn day. Grey clouds were quietly floating in the sky over the city. A light breeze was wandering around the streets. I was getting ready for school. I was packing my school bag. That day I had seven lessons. Oh, I was about to forget to take something to eat with me. Having taken a packet of waffles, I put my rain coat on and went to school. The way to school was not long, it took just seven minutes on foot. I came to school. It was a celebration, the day of school. All our schoolchildren and teachers gathered in the school Assembly Hall. Our class was lucky, we were sitting in the first row. On the right, there were sitting all the teachers. At last, the performance started. The children from the primary school sang a song. In the whole, it wasn’t almost not boring. But suddenly we heard a strange noise. First, we thought there was something wrong with the stage equipment, but the was becoming louder and louder as if something was flying towards our school. In a while, the ceiling over the stage began to fall down. We were surprised to see a huge chocolate fall on the stage. It was the size of three big windows. What a special effect!!!!!!! Well, the day was going to be interesting. Meanwhile, the chocolate unwrapped by itself, and a magician went out of it. “Hello, he said, My name is Puck Vinesual Lits IV. But you can call me just Puck. I am a kind magician and arrived at your school with good intentions. I came to make your school life a bit more colourful. Today, I’ll make three your wishes true. So, the performance starts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cracks-packs-facks!!!!!!!!!!!!!” At this very moment, all the teachers turned into different animals. The German teacher turned into a squirrel. She was holding a heavy dictionary in her paws, and there was a strange hairdo on her head. The PE teacher turned into a muscular French bulldog. He was wearing a blue sports uniform and a cap. The History teacher turned into a huge hen. She was wearing grey slippers. The Geography teacher became a gopher. She was holding the World Map. The Maths teacher turned into an owl and was holding a calculator in her paws. “Cracks-packs-facks!!!”, cried out the wizard. And there appeared big bags with sweets in our hands. We ate them, but we couldn’t eat them up. “Crackspacks-facks!!!”, said Puck. Nothing happened. Then he asked us to go our classrooms. We agreed and did so. The classrooms had changed completely.
Instead of the boards there were big fish tanks with beautiful fish and a big yellow jelly fish. Instead of the wooden chairs there were massage chairs. And the desks were as soft as pillows so that the students could have a snap in the middle of the lesson……… Since then, everything has changed. We began studying like kings. In the canteen, they began to serve delicious dishes from different countries. In the corridor, there appeared an enormous screen. Any student could get whatever he wanted. He just had to type the correct word. For example the word “car”. If he wrote it correctly, it immediately appeared. The stairs have disappeared as well. Instead of them there appeared elevators. So, that is what our life like now. by Ksieniia Kurnosova, Odessa School # 77, Ukraine
