Richard and Benjamin first played together in 1992 and continue to give regular performances including Wigmore Hall, Purcell Room, King’s Place, on BBC Radio 3 and many major music clubs and festivals around the UK and abroad. They have made several recordings including a recording of cello and piano works by Ivor Gurney, Cyril Scott and Ian Venables (who has written several pieces specifically for them), which received excellent reviews.

EDUCATIONAL WORK Both artists have current teaching positions at: Oakham School, King Edward’s Birmingham, Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Royal Northern College, Royal Welsh College and Dante Quartet Festival (France). Richard has also given many recital lectures on his PhD topic of Zoltan Kodály.
