Winners of the Elias Fawcett Trust Award for an Outstanding Chamber Ensemble at the Royal Over-Seas League Competition, the Lipatti Piano Quartet are the UK’s leading young ensemble of this genre. They recently appeared at Southbank Centre’s SoundState Sessions in association with Park Lane Group, thanks to whom they also gave their Wigmore Hall debut. Alongside their performances of Schumann, Brahms, Dvořák and Fauré, the Lipattis have enjoyed working with celebrated British composers including Mark Anthony Turnage and Huw Watkins.
