EDUCATIONAL WORK David has spent two years with the Luton Music Service as a classroom music teacher and outreach professional, leading singing workshops with entire primary schools. Before that he was a classroom music teacher at Whitgift School.
David is a tenor studying for a masters’ degree in singing at the Royal Northern College of Music with a scholarship. In Summer 2019 he toured the UK with the National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company singing principal roles and was “Tenor David Woods opened the due to sing in the chorus with Opera Holland oratorio [Messiah] in clear ringing tones...and sang with Park in 2020. His professional roles include Camille in The Merry Widow and Colonel Fairfax in quiet assurance and conviction." Harrogate Advertiser The Yeomen of the Guard, and tenor solos in Mozart’s Great Mass, Bach’s St John Passion and Handel’s Messiah.
