Subsidies Making Music promoter members can claim subsidies for in-person and digital performances. Look out for the banknotes symbol and go to the relevant page to see what you can claim. See www.makingmusic.org.uk/subsidies for more details and how to apply. *New* livestreaming subsidies Promoter groups can apply for the Livestreaming Subsidy - Philip & Dorothy Green Young Artists (PDGYA) of £150 towards booking one of our PDGYA for a livestreamed performance (orange pages of this Guide, 7-13). The subsidy covers their full agreed livestreaming fee of £150. Promoters can also claim the Livestreaming Subsidy - any artist which is £150 towards booking ANY artist, (not just in this guide), for a livestream performance. The full fee will need to be negotiated between you and the artist. These subsidies are also applicable for pre-recorded performances for broadcast. Selected Artists Subsidy The Selected Artists Subsidy is an exclusive subsidy for promoter groups with an income under £14,500 for in-person performances. Artists Expenses Subsidy The Artists Expenses Subsidy is an exclusive subsidy for promoter groups with an income under £14,500. You can claim it when booking any artist, not just the ones in this guide.
