indoor and outdoor activities – at sea and on land. We can arrange everything from boat trips and quizzes to competitions and mental challenges that put the employees’ skills, logic, creativity and interpersonal skills to the test.

The resort’s location between the fjord and the mountains enables many exciting outdoor activities all year-round. You can conclude the activity with a customised programme at our wilderness camp, Camp Nikka.

Malangen Resort offers modern facilities for meetings and conferences. This is an ideal venue for holding everything from board meetings to conferences with up to 100 delegates. Our large meeting rooms can be divided into smaller rooms for group

work or smaller meetings. The meeting rooms are set up with all necessary equipment, such as internet, projector, whiteboard, sound system and microphone.

Our meeting rooms have large floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light and provide panoramic views of the fjord. The spectacular

views of the fjord and mountains combined with the pleasant resort provide a wonderful setting for inspiration and creativity.

We specialize in wines from Lebanon and Greece for the antique world, and the USA, Argentina, Bulgaria, and New Zealand for the new world. We also have a carefully curated selection from Burgundy

(France) and Piemonte (Italy), and other regions waiting to be discovered.

Our cellar features a dedicated chamber for Bivrost spirits, including gin, aquavit, and whisky produced by the Northernmost distillery in the world, located far north of the polar circle. You'll have the opportunity to experience the distinctive flavors of the Arctic.

Additionally, the Cellar features an exhibition room with a full-rigged nordlandsbåt, a traditional fishing boat native to the Northern Norwegian region. SAMI STORYTELLING AND REINDEER FEEDING

Experience the captivating world of the Sámi culture with our group-friendly activity. Join us on a journey through Sámi traditions, where you can book a unique opportunity to enter a lavvu accompanied by a Sámi guide.

Immerse yourself in the warmth of the open fire as you listen to intriguing stories about the Sámi way of life, their history, and their beliefs. Indulge in authentic Sámi food cooked over the flames and witness traditional artefacts that showcase the rich heritage of the Sámi people.

Feed your sense of adventure by visiting and

interacting with the reindeer grazing near the lavvu, where you'll discover the time-honoured traditions of reindeer herding and even learn the art of lasso throwing. As a memento of this memorable experience, our guide will assist you in creating your very own handicraft using reindeer antlers.

In addition to this activity, we offer group bookings for thrilling dog sledding tours and provide excellent opportunities to witness the breathtaking Northern Lights. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Arctic and create lasting memories with your group.

RESTAURANT AND THE AURORA LOUNGE

The menu at Malangen Resort is built around traditional Northern Norwegian cuisine.

Our chef emphasises using local ingredients and products in all our dishes to ensure the freshest and healthiest food for our guests. The sea is the main supplier to our menu due to the proximity and easy access to the freshest seafood available.

THE AURORA LOUNGE (The Naust)

The "Naust" is a unique, renovated 100-year-old boathouse relocated inside the hotel building.

The Naust features authentic decorations generously donated by locals, who have preserved these cherished memorabilia for generations. This charming building serves as a cosy 'living room' where guests can unwind during the winter months, complete with board games, books, and the warm glow of candlelight.

In addition to its inviting ambience, The Naust offers versatile facilities that can be adapted to suit various activities. It is an excellent choice for hosting karaoke nights, a lively bar setup, or any other entertainment needs for your event.

FITNESS FACILITY

As part of our resort fee, guests have complimentary access to our fitness facility located on the second floor of the hotel. Our facility features a variety of modern equipment, including running and stepping machines, dumbbells ranging from 4 to 26 kg, benches, and more. With ample space and good ventilation, up to 10 guests can use the facility simultaneously.

Please note that while we do not have shower facilities connected to the fitness facility, fresh water is available in the room, and a restroom is conveniently located adjacent to the facility. We designed our fitness facility with our guests' well-being in mind, and we hope you'll take advantage of this exclusive amenity during your stay.

ARCTIC OCEAN SPA

The word "spa" is derived from the Latin phrase "Salus Per Aquam," meaning "health through water." At Malangen Resort, we offer a unique spa experience that takes advantage of our stunning location by the Arctic Ocean.

Our spa offers a variety of contrasts that will invigorate your senses. Relax in our outdoor hot tub, breathing in the crisp, clear air while taking in panoramic views of the mountains of Malangen. Step into our steamy sauna for a rejuvenating heat session that will leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated. In the evening, cozy up and enjoy the intimate experience of viewing the Northern Lights from the comfort of our spa.

For the brave, we offer the most extreme experience of all - a dip in the Arctic Ocean! Our safe staircase brings you into the salty water at almost zero degrees Celsius. We recommend a short, energetic swim not too far into the sea.

Brave guests who take the plunge are entitled to receive a diploma for their achievement.

We can arrange transport to and from Tromsø on request. Go home when the meeting is over, or choose between several accommodation options.

Malangen Resort is particularly suitable for gathering guests from different parts of the county, with its geographical proximity to both Tromsø, Bardufoss and Finnsnes. The first two have international airports with a number of departures.
