Please join us in getting to know the multitalented creator Wing. She creates fabulous clothing meshes, gorgeously textured outfits and unique accessories.

How would you describe your personal style in real life? I would describe my personal style in real life as “just a girl next door. I mostly wear casual clothing like basic shirts and jeans. I hardly wear makeup except for special occasions. I have no tattoos or body piercings. Very ordinary.

Where do you find inspiration for your amazing products? I find my inspiration on the internet mostly, sometimes from magazines as well. I also look at dresses in shops. Pictured: Viking Goddes Bundle

Why did you decide to become a creator? Back in 2004, imvu was something new and exciting, and there was something called the Top 10 Pages. A friend asked me to make some stickers to decorate his imvu homepage, so I did. Slowly, I learned some basic skills with developing on imvu. If I remember correctly, my first product was a sticker called “red candle”, a simple .gif. I just drew the candle using my mouse, sold a few, and thought “that was so easy!“

Since this Top 10 Pages contest was a bit costly (people had to gift to attract more visitors to their pages) and I really wanted to help out, I started to think if I can earn some credits, I can keep sponsoring my friend. so I started submitting on a regular basis and became addicted. Later on, my friend did get on the Top 10 Pages chart lol.

What is the most important change you think IMVU could make to benefit the creator community? I think imvu needs to revamp the client and the catalog since the program is so dated and the shop is terribly messy. IMVU NEXT is actually a good move but I am very disappointed with the new shop in NEXT.

Can you offer any advice for new devs out there? My advice to new devs would be: Read the TOS. Read more tutorials either in the Education Center or look up tutorials on YouTube.

Be unique and never stop learning.
