Welcome
LA Trends is a group of five friends who enjoy creating together. We share a showroom and trade tips, advice and critique. In these pages you will find our latest creations easily linked for your shopping pleasure. Shellz1212 I joined IMVU in 2011 after coming from another game. About a year later, I started creating to make the items I wanted, the way I wanted them. With a background in art, I have a thirst to be creative and enjoy making things that people want to buy. I started deving with rooms and furniture, but began making clothes a year later, learning little by little with a lot of help from my friends. My style is sleek, fun and sassy with a little bit of cosplay mixed in. I have learned so much from my friends - they encourage me, honestly critique me, and give me praise even when i don’t think i deserve it. I am so thankful for all models and promo agencies who have helped me grow as a creator and am especially thankful for all my customers.
Vixiella & Faunalynn My name is Dara, and I have been on IMVU for years. I started developing full-time around 2013 and am still learning a lot of different techniques and just having fun. I met someone on IMVU I can’t live without, Matthew, in 2012. I met Shell in 2014, and she has been my best friend since. Through her, I met the amazing “Fabs.” My favorite developers of all time are: of course, my lovely LA Trends ladies, Whims, Missmaya, Kheresket, Leilo, and SirenaRoga. Thank you to all my supporters, all my customers, and my friends for just doing what you do. It keeps me going.
TheBratGirl A long time ago in a game far, far away I met some incredible people and made some incredible friends. At one of those friend’s prodding, I joined IMVU. That same friend encouraged me to, instead of making clothing and furniture for a game where I couldn’t upload them, make items on IMVU instead. So, some years ago, I made my very first product on IMVU. When I returned to IMVU I returned to creating with a renewed passion. I want products that reflect my style, and if I cannot find them I will make them myself. I strive to create products that I would use and use proudly. Creating doesn’t just give me a bigger wardrobe; it gives the chance to express myself creatively and to meet some pretty wonderful people in the creating, promotion, and general IMVU communities.
MallorysOracle I joined IMVU in 2012 with some fellow friends from another game. I began creating simply as a personal challenge - to see if I could. It turned out that I really enjoyed it and have been fortunate enough to be able to learn alongside my friends. My style tends to vintage or classy looks, with some occasional cosplay from my favorite movies, TV and books thrown in. I have a day job so am usually only able to create on the weekends, but it’s become one of my favorite ways to relax. A special shoutout to the customers who keep coming back! Thank you so much for your support.
TeenyWeenyNana I joined IMVU at the urging of a friend and began creating just to make things I wanted and couldn’t find. I’m a very practical person, so the ability to indulge in art that I could use was very exciting. The multilevel challenges of creating has been a wonderful outlet for me. It’s allowed me to hone old skills and learn new ones and through creating I’ve been blessed to meet so many amazing creators, artists and friends in the IMVU community.

Snow Day
What do you like to do on that unexpected day off from work or school? Reading is one of our favorite activities. Circe by TheBratGirl from The Odyssey by Homer “So we sailed on, with heavy hearts for the loyal friends lost, though happy to have escaped death ourselves, and came to the island of Aeaea, where Circe of the lovely tresses lived, a fateful goddess with a human voice, sister to dark-minded Aeetes: both children of the Sun that lights the world, and Perse, daughter of the Ocean. Here our ship closed the shore in silence, entering a harbour fit for vessels, guided by a god. When we had gone ashore we lay there for two days and nights consumed by weariness and grief.
The Woman in White by TheBratGirl Based on the novel by Wilkie Collins
“There was nothing wild, nothing immodest in her manner: it was quiet and self-controlled, a little melancholy and a little touched by suspicion; not exactly the manner of a lady, and, at the same time, not the manner of a woman in the humblest rank of life. The voice, little as I had yet heard of it, had something curiously still and mechanical in its tones, and the utterance was remarkably rapid. She held a small bag in her hand: and her dress--bonnet, shawl, and gown all of white--was, so far as I could guess, certainly not composed of very delicate or very expensive materials. Her figure was slight, and rather above the average height--her gait and actions free from the slightest approach to extravagance. This was all that I could observe of her in the dim light and under the perplexingly strange circumstances of our meeting.
Gatsby by TheBratGirl Based on the novel The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
“An hour later the front door opened nervously, and Gatsby, in a white flannel suit, silver shirt, and gold-colored tie, hurried in. He was pale, and there were dark signs of sleeplessness beneath his eyes.

Two days before Christmas and Mrs. Claus is stranded with nothing but her smile and a grumpy reindeer with a busted ankle.
