W are delighted to welcome you to the NINTH edition of the festival, taking place at the Odeon Great Northern. The festival keeps on growing, this year we have 6 feature film world premieres and 17 feature film UK Premieres and all films are screening in Manchester for the first time. Over 140 short films will screen at the festival including 32 world premieres and local talent will be on show with three sessions of North West Shorts, the most we have ever screened at the festival. The line-up is bursting with talent with films starring Nicolas Cage, Timothy Spall, Minnie Driver and Juliet Rylance to name a few. We are also excited to share in Manchester for the first time films fresh from Sundance, Cannes, and Toronto. As always we’d like to thank all our amazing partners, listed below, without whom we wouldn’t be able to make this festival the huge and successful event it is.
