Police have arrested a 25 years old shopowner for dealing and possession of Illicit cigarettes, illegal immigrant and selling of unpacked cigarettes at PG Centre along Voortrekker Street in Heidelberg on Monday, April 21.

Lesedi Local Municipality, Gauteng 2021-2022 DRAFT RATES AND TARIFFS FOR MUNICIPAL RATES AND SERVICES Notice is hereby given to the rate payers and consumers in terms of section 13 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act 2000 that Lesedi Local Municipality has by council resolution approved 2021/2022 Medium-Term Revenue and Expenditure Framework (MTREF) for levying a rate on a property and service charges. Draft tariffs were approved by Council on 31 March 2021 – Council resolution number LC.CM-34/03/2021. It is important to note that electricity tariffs are pending the approval by NERSA. Harvest Outreach engages Vischkuil residents!
Harvest Outreach Centre is pulling the plug against drug abuse at Vischkuil, east of Lesedi. The organization recently hosted a #KEMOJA I'M FINE WITHOUT DRUGS substance abuse awareness campaign. The event was mainly to introduce the substance abuse and community development awareness programmes that are offered to the community as the
nation strives for a drug free environment. The team from Harvest Outreach visited he area to engage with the community and register youth for their upcoming courses. The campaign also observed strict COVID-19 protocols. “The community of Vischkuil was very happy and interested in everything we had to say,” said the organization.
