The principal targets in this project were the minimun budget and merge the living area in the main facade, close to the entrances, as well as do the same with the sleeping area in the back one. The living area consists of the living room and a kid’s space which are connected by sliding doors. The sleeping area was redistributed to make bedrooms according the modern standards. A new ceilling was made to dacilitate putting the new electrical installation and generate a warm atmosphere, with indirect lights

HOUSE
When Andrea contacted me to renovate her house, her main concern was to improve heat retention at home. Bear in mind, with a facade of stone masonry in which we could not modify, the creation of a new insulated floor and the placement of insulation on the walls and ceiling was proposed. An open space was proposed for the kitchen-living-room demolishing the wall that divided them and maintaining the existing rooms.

Pablo is an artisan baker. He offers a high quality product and connects with his clients well. In this line, he was looking to create a closer experience between clients and bread making process, so we worked on a new site that allows clients to see how bread production works and at the same time the processes won’t be interrupted by them. We proposed a distribution with a divided paths for the product, the resources and the clients, but at the same time, they will be connected visually. The public zone has two differents areas, the vending area and the tasting one. From the vending area you can see how the bakers are working and you can see all the products.

Project in progress when I arrived at the studio. I made condition reports and site survey. I suggested the idea of freeing up the ground floor and hanging the structure in the roof. The result was a more spacious living-room.

4 STARS HOTEL AND SPA Domos arquitectura Ameixide, Cangas (Pontevedra)
Roof development and landscaping for this 4 stars 67 bedrooms hotel. The roof shape try to evoke a scallop shell. It’s developed a few swimming pool and water features to solve the current slope in the terrain and to merge the hotel and the spa, which is situated in the existing factory in the land’s lowest part.

As my final project degree, I’ve developed a hotel under the theme “The future hotel”. The hotel had to be linked with an activity, so I decided to link the hotel with the sea and industries connected to the sea. I joined with the activity and the hotel with ecotourism, customers will have the oportunity to learn how the mussels are grown, exactly in the platforms (called bateas) where the mussles are cultivated, as nowadays people can go to a farm and learn how it works. In order to do this, I designed a bedroom model that allows to mantain the industrial productivity, and at the same time guests wouldbe able to be in situ. A central building it’s also developed and equipped with all the necessary equipment to complete the guest experience. 15
