We know that there is a lot of thought that goes into such a big celebration, and we want you to know that we are confident that our team here will provide for you a truly memorable day in your life that both meets and exceeds your expectations! We are experts in this field and are here for you every step of the way. Now that you have found the perfect place, we can start on the exciting details! This package was created to give you some guidance and assist you in the planning process of your big day. There are many ideas and changes that may come your way, so this is designed to keep you on track and to let you know what you can expect from us! First to follow is our preferred vendor list. All rentals, food & linen selections must come directly through Marbella Country Club, but the rest is up to you! We know there are so many wonderful vendors to choose from, so this is a guide to help steer you in the right direction. People we refer have worked with us time after time and have provided a consistent and superior product for our guests. We recommend that you personally meet with a variety of vendors so that you can make an educated decision that feels right to you! Second is a reminder of appointments and details that you will need to schedule with us in order to stay on track during your planning process. You are always welcome to stop by when we are setting up for a wedding to get ideas. When you come by to visit please be aware that we may be preparing for that day’s event, thus unable to meet with you in depth, but can be available if an appointment is scheduled in advance. Your appointments with us should be scheduled accordingly:
Food Tasting ~ 4-6 Months Prior Before you send out your invitations you need to schedule a food tasting. Please call us to ask about the specific dates that we have available for you to come out and taste! Please set aside approximately 2 hours for the tasting and event details. Once we decide on a food tasting date, we will send you a food tasting form which you will need to complete for us so that we have a great idea as to the menu selections that you and your fiancĂŠ are most interested in. You will need to send the menu tasting form back 14 days prior to your scheduled tasting date. If wine is included within your selected package, we will offer House Wine Tasting samples. Our house wine is Sycamore Lane and we will offer samples of our Chardonnay, Cabernet, & Merlot. At this time Elizabeth Douglass, our Event Coordinator, will start the process of discussing desired event details so that we can get a fantastic idea as to your wedding event vision.
Linen Preview ~ 4-6 Months Prior Marbella Country Club works with a specialty linen company called Elite Linen. We have worked with them for several years and they have a track record of providing some of the most upscale linens in the industry. They have a selection of chairs, colors and fabrics that will blow you away. We recommend scheduling an appointment directly with Elite Linens to visit their Showroom in Irvine, CA. This is where your vision can come to life!
