Marbella is officially on YouTube! Click the link & check us out! Marbella YouTube Channel “Marbella Country Club was the perfect choice for our wedding! The staff was extremely professional and kindhearted. The venue was NOT a cold ballroom - BUT instead - it was an intimate and elegant environment! Our guests felt as if we rented out an elegant estate that we had all to ourselves! Our guests have not stopped commenting on how delicious the meal was and how friendly the servers treated them. Our wedding day was beyond our expectations and we will forever be grateful to Marbella Country Club's professional staff members and how they not only treated us as their clients BUT as family!” -Anonymous (as seen on WddingWire)

Tips & Tricks for the Modern Couple
Our Engagement Story
Stacey Furrer & Trey McCalla Wedding Date: Saturday June 25, 2016 One of the many activities Stacey and I enjoy doing together is wine tasting. With our anniversary quickly approaching, we decided to take advantage of some much needed time off and head to Temecula wine country for a little celebration. We arrived in wine country on our anniversary, checked in, made our way to what turned out to be a stellar room, and got ourselves ready for an amazing dinner. I thought it might be cliché for me to ask Stacey on our actual anniversary, but thought I would bring the ring to dinner with me just in case the moment felt right. I sat with the ring in my sweater pocket the entire night, slightly distracted as to if the moment had passed and I missed it, or if it was still to come. While the restaurant was beautiful and Stacey even more so, the atmosphere wasn’t exactly as I had pictured for this big moment. Back at our room and prior to us going to sleep, we discussed our plans for the next day - we would get an early start visiting a few of the wineries. The next morning we started out and I made sure to keep the ring in my sweater pocket and bring it with us. On February 17th, 2015, we arrived at Falkner Winery and the setting was perfection. The winery sat high above overlooking the rest of the valley and the sun was shining bright, hardly a cloud in the sky. Since we arrived early and it was during the week, there were not many people out and about. We got our tasting and went outside to sit on one of the benches. Finally, I knew this was going to be the place! As we talked and enjoyed our time together, I could not take it any longer. I told Stacey I knew we said we would not get each other gifts for our anniversary, but I had gotten her a little something. I turned around to grab the ring box from my sweater pocket (and of course it got stuck), got down on one knee, and began to convey my feelings towards her in a completely impromptu speech, finally declaring my love for her and asking her to marry me. Stacey was shocked and stunned. She could not believe what happened. A female passerby watched everything transpire and while at first she thought we were joking around, she realized it was for real and rushed over to get Stacey’s phone to take some photos. Perfectly awkward. Perfectly captured.

Featured Wedding Alexa & Stephen
Saturday, November 21, 2015 Alexa & Stephen’s classic, contemporary wedding with a touch of Tuscany flare hosted at Marbella was a stunning reflection of the beautiful bride and her handsome groom. She chose a neutral color palette with lots of greenery. The ceremony was simple and romantic with lanterns, candles and lush greenery ~ not to mention a gorgeous scenic background! The reception is what really stole the show. The Tuscan-inspired elements really shined with gorgeous floral arrangements made up of lush greenery and pretty white flowers in bold bronze containers. Each table number was framed in antique gold frames to incorporate that classic vintage vibe. At each place setting sat an Olive Branch and a little bottle of olive oil as their wedding favor. Alexa & Stephen’s wedding would not be complete without dessert…As if their wedding couldn’t be any more perfect, they had a donut bar for dessert that included donuts that spelled out their names. To top off the magical evening, the newlyweds were sent off with a grand sparkler exit. The perfect ending to the perfect day! This wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty & Intertwined Events! Check out their websites for more stunning wedding photos!

Having seating assignments at your wedding is helpful for you and your guests as well as your wait staff. It eliminates confusion and guests typically like to know where they are supposed to sit. It helps the flow of the event and it also helps the wait staff figure out who got chicken and who got the vegetarian. Here are a few easy tips for creating a seating chart: 1. Create categories, Bride’s family, Groom’s family, Friends, etc. 2. Break down your categories into tables and create an excel sheet or diagram to keep it organized 3. Decide if you want a Sweetheart table with just you and your new spouse or a head table with your bridal party.
