From the entire team here at March8, welcome to our Top 100 Leaders issue.
HELLO AND WELCOME
The word ‘leader’ is difficult to define, simply, because it means different things to different people.
To some, integrity, communication and delegation are the most important attributes, whereas others may constitute self-awareness, respect and influence as the obligatory factors.
However you interpret the word, we can all agree that leaders have a tremendous influence on individuals and organisations alike, which is why we are celebrating 100 women who are pioneering change and leading by example.
You may notice that not all of our women are founders or CEOs. This is because we believe that great leadership isn’t defined by job title or corporation size, but by the impact made on others.
To us at March8, leaders are those who advocate for others, while making tough but fair decisions. Leaders lend their voice when others struggle to find theirs and they drive innovation, creativity and of course, personal and professional development. With love, the March8 Team.
