The Exhibition

TEAMWORK AND A MUTUAL DESIRE TO CREATE ARE TWO MAIN FACTORS BEHIND THE IDEA OF THE PROJECT. THE ACT OF PAINTING LETS US FORGETABOUT MANY THINGS, AS WELL AS DISCOVER THE SHEER JOY OF CREATING. WE PAINT PAINTINGS FOR CHILDREN’S HOSPITALS THESE PAINTING ARE EXCEPTIONAL, AS THEY ARE BASED ON WORKS CREATED BY LITTLE PATIENTS. JOIN US, LET THE GAME BEGIN!

Creating a painting Painting with volunteers: The volunteers, under the guidance of Marcin Kowalik, Ph.D., collaboratively paint on a large-scale canvas , which is based on the 3D designs of the children created in Stage I. The first step is transferring the 3D designs onto the surface of the canvas. The unique twist here is that the collaborative painting is a ‘art within art’ – the children’s original plasticine works are re-interpreted by the volunteers on the canvas to create a large-scale painting.
3
The Exhibition- unveiling of the painting After all the work is concluded an official gala takes place, during which the painting is unveiled and handed over to the hospital and its little patients- an artwork whose history directly flows out of that place and tells a story about it. Children get to view the effects of their work while the hospital gets a brand new, priceless artwork- one, which was created by their own patients.

CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility)corporate responsibility for their impact on society. A Dose of Painting is a project fulfilling companies’ CSR via: • accomplishing a social mission (helping ill children) • integrating and inspiring employees (creative and cooperative acts for a righteous cause instead of traditional team building exercises) • creating a positive PR image for the sponsor.
‘For me, a Dose of Painting exhibition proved to be a perfect union and creative cooperation of science and artistry in order to create something fun for the youngest and the one a little older. Marcin Kowalik’s passion for that kind of projects is clearly visible on a painting created by united workings done by himself, the kids and UPS employees. It was a real show of artistic creativity achieved via teamwork and the final product shall enamour the hospital’s little patients for years to come. Anna and project team UBS Art Decoder- you have my sincerest thanks for the invitation and who knows, perhaps next time I shall take cave in and paint something myself!’
