appointment at AYOP Sylvia Boer has been appointed as the new Director of Amsterdam IJmuiden Offshore Ports (AYOP). She will serve as the linchpin between members of the association for offshore companies, government bodies and stake-holders. Ms Boer has been working for Damen Shipyards Group over the past eight years, the last three of which as head of communications. She is also chair of WISTA Nederland, the Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association.

Jim McGowin has more than 30 years’ experience in sales, marketing and operations management of oilfield wellbore construction, completion systems and services and enhanced oil recovery techniques.
