Globally respected Italian yacht building company Benetti Yachts has been triumphing in the superyacht sector as always, and 2021 was no diferent. Let’s have a look at some of their largest launches of last year.

In April 2021, shortly after Triumph, Benetti launched 65m Zazou, which was another full custom superyacht designed by Giorgio Cassetta.

48m custom superyacht Hawa was launched from the Livorno shipyard on 29 April 2021.

Triumph was the frst superyacht to be built by Benetti under China Classifcation Society.

Triumph

The largest superyacht that Benetti launched this year was 65.4m full-custom yacht Triumph. The construction of Triumph began as Project Vogue FB270, it was designed by Giorgio Cassetta, and has been delivered to her owner in July 2021. Triumph was the frst superyacht to be built by Benetti under China Classifcation Society and to fy the Chinese fag, setting a signifcant benchmark for Benetti’s growth in the Asian market.

Zazou

In April 2021, shortly afer Triumph, Benetti launched 65m Zazou, which was another full custom superyacht designed by Giorgio Cassetta. Zazou was commissioned by a repeat Benetti client. The yacht accommodates twelve guests across six opulent cabins, with luxurious interiors penned by Dutch studio Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. The 65m superyacht boasts one of the largest Sun Decks in her category at over 20m in length, complete with a gym, fvemetre-long swimming pool and an outdoor cinema.

Hawa

Designed by English studio RWD, 48m custom superyacht Hawa was launched from the Livorno shipyard on 29 April. The superyacht accommodates ten guests in fve cabins and nine crew members to provide unforgettable experiences on the water. matte painted eucalyptus woods and refned dark walnut details. Hawa is characterised by her elegant lines and ‘desert sand’ hull colour, selected by her owner. The unique layout prioritises continuous contact with the outdoor environment, notably in the Main deck lounge which has fve openings to the outside with views across the sea.

Lucky Wave

Lucky Wave was the third unit of the Diamond 44m model to be launched by Benetti, reafrming the strength of Benetti’s diverse portfolio of superyacht lines.

Lucky Wave 44m has been designed to improve onboard lifestyle for owners, guests and crew.

The Diamond 44m has been designed to improve onboard lifestyle for owners, guests and crew, with a layout that separates guest and crew paths. Lucky Wave features a hull that tapers up to meet the large windows, which food the interiors with natural light and bring guests closer to their surrounding environment. The 102m2 Sun Deck is the largest on the market for a yacht of this size, and liveability. The superyacht is fnished with that typical elegance and excellence that Benetti is famous for, with a classic white exterior aesthetic and hand-polished bridges that refect artisan traditions.

A closer look at Triumph

Triumph is a 65.4m full custom yacht with sleek and clean lines spanning her not always present on yachts of this size. The high-perch features an elegant jacuzzi, comfortable seating and a table for ten that can be used even while navigating, thanks to ample wind sheltering. The sky lounge on the Upper Deck blends seamlessly with the welcoming af outdoor spaces, outftted with custom furniture. The owner’s apartment, set over a sprawling 130m2 area, takes full advantage of the deck’s spaciousness and stunning views. The af cockpit on the Main Deck is an outdoor spot, sheltered yet in contact with the environment, perfect for conversation and relaxation at any time of day. Amidships, the large and bright living area, consisting of a dining and relaxation space, is complete with every comfort. Also on the Main Deck, the VIP stateroom dedicates an opulent suite to the owner’s guests. The beach area of the Lower Deck proposes an area of about 70m2 with immediate access to the sea. The sleeping area amidships includes four double cabins for an additional eight guests. Also on this deck, but in a separate area to guarantee guest privacy, is the modern galley, and at the bow there are the accommodations for crew members. The engine room hosts a pair of MTU 12V 4000 M53 engines for a maximum speed of 16.5 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. The range at 12 knots is 4,700 miles.

Cassetta, complementing the naval architecture by Benetti. Green & Mingarelli Design contributed to the interiors, adding to the work done inhouse by Benetti. The yacht, which accommodates twelve people in six double cabins, ofers a host of luxurious amenities, including a touch and go helipad located on the bow, sauna, fully equipped gym, massage room, jacuzzi and 70m2 of beach club with a drop-down platform. Manuele Thiella, CEO of Royal Yacht International, International luxury yacht advisor company with headquarter ofces based in Monte Carlo and London, represented the owner. Giorgio M. Cassetta notably used large curved windows to balance the yacht’s impressive presence. Green & Mingarelli Design arranged the elegant interiors and many furnishing details, closely following the direction of the Benetti Interior Style Department.
