850 Abrasives Safety First On contact with liquids, resin bonded abrasives lose their strength and become dangerous. All safety regulations therefore stipulate that abrasives MUST be stored dry. FEPA §3.4 States: Abrasives must be stored dry. EN12413:1999 Abrasives must be stored such that they are not subjected to mechanical or environmental influences. And yet dampness is everywhere, on the construction site, in stores, in site containers, simply everywhere. Marcrist have addressed the problem. The new packaging of the Marcrist 850 range guarantees maximum safety: • Slitting discs supplied in metal tins • All other abrasive discs shrink-wrapped
