3/ LA RICARDA Bar Cart (La Ricarda) is a project realized in the university of design Elisava. It is a carbar designed to be part of the furniture of the Casa Gomis, also known as “La Ricarda”. The house was designed by the architect Antonio Bonet with the collaboration of Ricardo Gomis, the owner of the house. It is located in the Prat del Llobregat surrounded by a pine forest and in front of the pond La Ricarda, which gives it its name.

Bar Cart (La Ricarda) es un proyecto realizado en la universidad de diseño Elisava. Se trata de un carrobar diseñado para formar parte del mobiliario de la Casa Gomis, conocida también como “La Ricarda”. La casa fue diseñada por el arquitecto Antonio Bonet con la colaboración de Ricardo Gomis, el propietario de la casa. Está situada en el Prat del Llobregat rodeada de un pinar y delante del estanque La Ricarda, el cual le da nombre.

The construction of the Ricarda was carried out “by correspondence”, since Antonio Bonet lived in Argentina during those years so that he directed the work from the distance. This large house is made of different modular pavilions that unite asymmetrically on a single floor. Its layout is horizontal, with its interior spaces: living room, dining room and bedrooms, intermediate: terraces and porches and the various outdoor spaces surrounding these modules. In addition to the building, furniture was especifically designed for the house to fill the space and complement it. 10
La construcción de la Ricarda fue realizada “por correspondencia”, ya que Antonio Bonet vivía en Argentina durante aquellos años, de manera que dirigió la obra a distancia. Esta casa de grandes dimensiones está formada por diferentes pabellones modulares que se unen asimétricamente en una sola planta. Su disposición es horizontal, con sus espacios interiores: sala, comedor y dormitorios, intermedios: terrazas y porches y los diversos espacios exteriores que rodean estos módulos. Además del edificio se diseñaron muebles especialmente para la casa que llenan el espacio y la complementan.
The furniture follows a style of continuous and light forms. With this type of structures you can see through the furniture with your eyes. The type of finish is modern but without losing the industrial essence so that the same piece of furniture explains how it is made. El mobiliario sigue un estilo de formas continuas y ligeras. Con este tipo de estructuras puedes atravesar el mueble con la mirada. El tipo de acabado es moderno pero sin perder la esencia industrial, de manera que el mismo mueble explica cรณmo estรก hecho.

7/ BARCELONETA For the realization this project was proposed the design of a space on the seafront of Barceloneta, famous fisherman’s quarter of Barcelona. It was decided to allocate this space to students from nearby university campuses, such as Campus Mar and the Ciutadella Campus of Pompeu Fabra University.

Para la realización este proyecto se propuso el diseño de un espacio en el paseo marítimo de la Barceloneta, famoso barrio de pescadores de Barcelona. Se decidió destinar este espacio a los estudiantes de los campus universitarios cercanos, como el Campus mar y el Campus Ciutadella de la Universidad Pompeu Fabra.

For the project, design furniture was used to perfectly fit the needs of the space. Para el proyecto se usaron muebles de diseĂąo que encajaban perfectamente con las necesidades del espacio.

The aim of our project was to create an environment of rest where to relax but also have an area where to be able to work. This way, the students would have a different place that makes the most of the area where they are without having to travel far. To create a space appropriate to its location we took as a base of inspiration the area itself, as well as the atmosphere that emites..
El objetivo de nuestro proyecto era crear en este espacio un ambiente de descanso donde poder relajarse pero que también disponga de una zona donde poder trabajar. Así los estudiantes dispondrían de un lugar diferente que aprovecha al máximo la zona donde se encuentran sin tener que desplazarse lejos. Para crear un espacio adecuado a su localización tomamos como base de inspiración la propia zona, así como la atmósfera que desprende.

9/ BARCELONA Postals Barcelona is a project that consists in the design of three groups of postcards inspired by three aspects of Barcelona or the catalan culture. Each group of postcards is addressed to different users: children, teenagers and adults. Therefore, for each user an appropriate style is used acording to their different characteristics.

Cada grupo de postales está dirigido a un público diferente: niños, adolescentes y adultos. Así pues, para cada usuario se usa un estilo apropiado para sus diferentes características.

Colorful children’s construction games taken as a basis and applied to stamping, so that the basic forms of the game create the three concepts of Barcelona. Coloridos juegos de construcción infantiles tomados como base y aplicados a la estampación, de forma que las formas básicas del juego crean los tres conceptos de Barcelona.

Images in the different channels that form them (cyan, magenta and yellow) displaced to create dynamism. This way a distorted appears but at the same time recognizable image. A more classic technique. The image creates a degradation between the pencil bases of the drawing, passing through the definition with black ink and finally the color touch of the watercolor. Técnica más clásica. En la imagen se crea una degradación entre las bases a lápiz del dibujo, pasando por la definición con tinta negra y finalmente el toque de color de la acuarela.

GALA’S PORTRAITS RETRATOS DE GALA
The Gala Portraits is a series of three photographs taken of a classmate. Each of the portraits expresses different faces of Gala. The first image reflects Gala I see her. The second is an identification image of the person. The third was a request from her from how she sees at herself. 48
Los Retratos de Gala es una serie de tres fotografías realizadas a una compañera de clase. Cada uno de los retratos expresa diferentes caras de Gala. La primera imagen refleja como la veo yo. La segunda es una imagen de identificación de la persona. La tercera fue una petición de ella a partir de como se veía a sí misma.

The Nature Closeup is a group of photographs made as an experiment with super macro lenses. The result was a set of images of plants and flowers of very small size.
Los Detalles de la Naturaleza son un grupo de fotografías hechas como experimento con lentes supermacro. El resultado fue un conjunto de imágenes de plantas y flores de muy pequeño tamaño.

One of the most interesting photography projects was the construction of a “pinhole” camera with which I learned abaout the process of taking photographs. We also experimented with the process of developing the photographs in the darkroom. These photographs are the result of these experiments with the camera. 52
Uno de los proyectos más interesantes de fotografía fuñe la construcción de una maquina fotografica “pinhole” con la que aprendí el funcionamiento de realización de la fotografía. Experimentamos además con el proceso de revelado de las fotografías en cuarto oscuro. Estas fotografías son el resultado de estos experimentos con la cámara.

Drawing has always been one of my favorite hobbies. Since I was little I spent many hours drawing and practicing with different techniques. When I entered the university I discovered the importance of drawing in the field of design. This section shows a collection of drawings done at the school of arts before entering the university.

El dibujo siempre ha sido uno de mis aficiones favoritas. Desde pequeña he pasado muchas horas dibujando y practicando con diferentes técnicas. Al entrar en la universidad descubrí la importancia que tiene el dibujo en el ámbito del diseño. En este apartado se muestra una recopilación de los dibujos hechos en la escuela de artes antes de entrar en la universidad.

The drawing of the human figure allows to create a relationship between objects and spaces with the user: people. Personally, it is one of the disciplines of artistic drawing that I find more interesting and the one with which I have enjoyed more.

In industrial design, the drwing of the projected products is very important, not only to make the project understandable but also during the design process. In this case, the drawing of still lifes helped me a lot in the moment of projecting on paper the designs that are proposed to me in the university.
En el diseño industrial, el dibujo de los productos proyectados es muy importante, no solo para hacer entender el proyecto pero también durante el proceso de diseño. En este caso, el dibujo de bodegones me ayudó mucho en el momento de proyectar en papel los diseños que se me proponen en la universidad. 59
