ABOUT ME
I am a Mexican industrial designer , interested in understanding the world through design and its possibilities. I enjoy learning from different life experiences specially from the relationship with other cultures. This has led me to travel learning English , French and to understand Italian. I'm passionate about yoga, which in hand whith design, has allowed me to analyze my environment from many different perspectives. Throughout my projects I have learned to know and understand my weaknesses and skills. Among these I decided to choose those that best describe my work to be represented in a diagram , which integrates all of these explaining the way I work. I'm a practitioner of the design thinking process and an a believer that storytelling its a support for design and a must for a great user experience.
* In the first page of each of the projects i point out the skills from the diagram that were developed or put in to practice during it.

PROJECTS
LOTUS DIAGRAM
The Lotus diagram, is a representation using the symbol of the lotus flower that intends to ilustrate my process of growth as a designer. The lotus is a flower that is born in the swamps and seeks the light. This meaning, is the reason why I chose to represent my designs through it, with the help of design I attempt to bring light to certain problem or need, i.e. to generate solutions for them. It also symbolizes an integration of projects in which I have participated that are representative of my profile as a designer. The order of the projects is a sequence of how I worked and put into practice various methodologies of design.

Generate culture and sustainable education through the affordances of the playground and games.
PROJECT: Games created with reused materials, divided by learning themes : music and adventure. All with a sustainable approach
PATOLITLAN VILLA ATL
University project, the goal was to develop a playground in conjunction with the "Villa Atl" park in Puebla, Mexico . Its creation was based on the methodologies : USER CENTER DESIGN + DESIGN THINKING This project also participated in the design competition , QUORUM award in Mexico .
"Design as a catalyst of social resources"
Ezio Manzini
For the design there was conducted a primary research to understand the implications of a non-formal education park. A secondary research to understand the behavior of children in a playground . These ones led to the creation of educational modules based on two thematics: Adventure and music that seek to promote non formal education.
Patolitlan project is based on creating various game modules that are integrated and also to integrate people to nature. Made from reused materials and stimulate creativity of children as they create a different perception of the game by your imagination.
PATOLITLAN VILLA ATL
MUSIC The music brings people together . That's why this module allows children to integrate , build a team, self-learning through different ways of communicating and experience . Made with PET bottles, jugs , PVC and fabrics. The games of this module are : Tekomatl (meaning: drum in nรกhutl ) Toskitl (meaning vocals) and Piloa (meaning maracas)
ADVENTURE It was manufactured with tires, chamber rims, sailcloth, steel cables and rivets. Promotes nonformal education through teamwork , stimulates creativity and encourages users to coexist them. Games of this module are : Papalani (means swing) Anna (create a creative modular game).
BRANDING/LOGO Villa Atl is a park that instills contact with nature through certain values: integration, respect , creativity , trust and integrity with our environment. The brand of the project is based on the meaning of the word : Patolitlan which is taken from the word patolli for its Aztec meaning of " team play "
Following the meaning of the name we chose to generate a code of names for each module and the games that are part of the two of them. Also a logo that represents the integration of these with the colors that are assigned to the project : yellow, blue and red. The logo is based on the form of a kite made by letter P, with movement and turned showing the three colors mentioned above.

-Creating mooring system. -Creating DINA (Integrated Design For Autistic Childrem) -Furniture design.
TEST
PROJECT: Modular furniture , building materials sensory and motor therapy support. VISUAL AND ERGONOMIC DIVISION OF THE AREA
DINA ASER School Integrated design for autistic children is born as a college design projec at ITESM Campus Puebla ; in collaboration with the school for autistic children "ASER " to improve their facilities . The aim of DINA is to create a healthier environment for the autistic children study.
“We are at a critical point where rapid change is forcing us to look not just to new ways of solving problems but to new problems to solve.
Tim Brown
The objective of the project was to Improved the first floor working area of the ASER school, based on an integrated design , linking the various areas of therapy. Create an organized and clean space, through multifunctional furniture . Based on ethnographic research with autistic children and documentary research on autism, and proposing different solutions.
DINA ASER School
SOLUTION
We conducted primary study on the ASER school to learn more about the subject of both autism and the autism needs. Secondary research was also necessary to better understand autisic children and therapies they need. This led us to divide the school in THERAPY ZONES and each one of them represents different activities for the children and their treatment: sensory, motor, sequential, among others.
SOLUTION Four areas in one space. Sensory therapy, Exterior-playground space, Relax space y Recepction Office. The unification, modularity and multifunctionality are traits that stand out in each area as they are mainly thought to optimize small school space; integrating itself to function harmoniously . We decided to use hygienic , safe and easy maintenance materials.

PROBLEM
We sought to resolve the problem of waste generated in the fruit stands located in the principal boulevards and beaches of Barcelona. In order to do it we decided to focus on a specific user: tourist. The re s earch was conducted in both the impact genera t ed by the above material and the proposed new design in cartboard, reaching a solution with less i m pact not only because by the change of the ma terial but also by changing consumer habits.
Jui 路 jui packaging
SOLUTION
The so l ution created was based on a package that causes less environmental impact and cause less food waste and creates a new habit in consumers. As a result of the research which reflected that much of the fruit rather than be consumed was wasted. The solution is a system of selling customizable frozen fruit s kewers. Which can be made of the amount of fruit you really want to eat and they you can also add toppin g s. The packaging is based on a base for the skewer to support it at the time of consumption and easy to use because it is assembled from a single piece of cardboard .
