The project aims to: - Provide a public space adapted to the topography and the trajector y of the water. - Provide access to rainwater consumption and offer different possibilities for use. - Generate a new proposal for an accesible and communal waterresistant public space. This new water-sensitive landscape is designed using aquapunctures, which aim to offer a new type of public space that is in harmony with the water cycle. In Mexico, as in many other countries, this resource is too often wasted. This project aims to impact habits and encourage responsible behavior by users.

Urban Voids

Ba c h e l or ’s G ra d u a t e Pro je c t The geographical and climatic conditions of Mexico’s city basin have favored over time the establishment of highly productive societies in the region. The relationship of these societies with their natural environment has evolved from a collaboration that benefited both par ties in preColumbian times, until now, where the relationship between the city and the void is critical, having areas of low density, exponential growth and a big lack of natural areas. The research and design proposed seeks to understand the territor y where this city has developed, proposing ideas and questions about its future evolution. Urban spaces are understood as remaining spaces in the urban tissu. commonly vacant or underutilized lands, not fully developed. By categorizing these gaps based on their physical characteristics and their use, the aim is to understand the urban disposition in two identities: the constructed and the void.

Location Izta palapa, Mexico City Year 2016-2017 In collaboration with Mónica Chahin David Garza Ricardo Hernández

The cemeteries of the city stand out as a categor y for their estimated value, their role in the urban landscape and their difficulty of adapting in time. After its categorization, the proposed strategies seek to be replicated throughout the basin, changing the public space and the urban landscape. The project was developed during 1 year, beginning with the analysis of current Mexico’s City voids, and then focusing in the cemeteries. A master plan is proposed to develop a cementer y that surrounds a natural reser ve currently threatened by the constant growth of the city.

L’Échangeur Perrache

Glo b al De sign p ro j ec t Since 1976 a strange architectural object is placed in the hear t of Lyon, the center of exchanges of Perrache is never theless the precursor of the poles of multimodal transpor t exchange. Imagined as a ser vice center, the Echangeur Perrache works as a “megastructure” that connects all the transpor t ser vices such as bus, train, tram and also offers a parking space. Today it symbol izes an urban fracture and the arrival of the highway to the city center. At a time when the neighborhood of Confluence is in process or urbanization, it is necessar y to get to know the origins of the project and its initial ambitions, as well as the implication of the different actors. To find the main problem we approached the transpor t users, through sur veys. We focused on their opinion about the efficiency and aspect of the place.

Location Lyon, France Year 2017 In collaboration with Léa Barbier Diane Laurent Gab rielle Nau

After the first sur veys we noticed the following points: An image of dir ty, noisy and abandoned place. Traversing the place is complicated and it’s hard to find your way. Signage is inefficient and there are ver y few waiting areas available. Users stay 5 to 15 minutes. After our first results of investigation were made, we asked ourselves: How to revitalize and give a strong and attractive identity to this building, considered a gateway to the cultural world of the Confluence district? After analyzing the attractions that are in Confluence, a new program for the building is proposed. In parallel, an image design, logo and communication campaign is proposed. An urban furniture, is also proposed to give life different events and activities that will guide the visitors to discover the neighborhood of Confluence as well as the building itself. This project was created in par tnership with Lyon City Demain https://lyoncitydemain.com/

Radiogranja Soci al p roj e c t

The main objective of Radio Granja is to create a space for dialogue for the dissemination and collection of information that promotes the self-knowledge of the community of Camino Verde, in Tijuana, Baja California. The project arises from the oppor tunity to take advantage of the roof of the Farm since it is currently an underused space that presents conditions with potential for the development of a project of low physical impact and high social impact in the community. The conceptualization of the project seeks to contrast the closed and introver ted space of the farm, a reinforced concrete building with little permeability, with the proposal of a light and extrover ted wooden structure that can be adapted to generate different activities. Access to the roof will be through a blacksmith staircase with retractable mechanism, generating more controlled access.

Location Camino Verde, Tijuana, Mexico Year 2015 In collaboration with Eugenia Canul Ricardo Alvarado Mat Ăas GarcĂa David Garza

The general project proposes to create a community garden, which generates, in addition to a local economy, par ticipation and social cohesion through the production of food as a common goal and thus contribute to the improvement of public health and the well-being of the community. The program includes the following spaces: Seed Bank Greenhouse Workshop space Dinning room Kitchen Radio cabin

Roma-Juรกrez Corridor

Urban & l an d s ca p e d e s i gn Cha pultepec Avenue is one of the main roads of Mexico City. It is located in the Centro-Poniente area, its route connects the city center with the areas close to Bosque de Cha pultepec, Ta cubaya and Polanco. Along the avenue there are 3 stations belonging to Line 1 of the Metro of Mexico City and intersecting with the colonies: La Juรกrez and Roma Nor te. After an analysis in the perimeter that star ts from the Chapultepec, Sevilla and Insurgentes stations, it is obser ved that the Seville metro stat ion has limitations of urban connectivity. The project proposes to begin an urban regeneration of this zone of the Federal District, star ting from the collective transpor tation hubs that are located on the avenue, creating a better connectivity of the urban fabric.

Location Cha pultepec Avenue, Mexico City Year 2015 In collaboration with Fernando Reyes Carlos Kuhn Mat hias Arnoux

A landscape and urban design proposal is also developed for Chapultepec Avenue. Through the analysis of the existing vegetation a vegetal palette was created taking in consideration the activities along this avenue. Chapultepec Avenue is an avenue with large flows in pedestrian, vehicular and transpor t levels. The problem is the lack of space for pedestrians and bikes. This proposal aims to restore and expand the area of the sidewalks to benefit the flow, expand the waiting areas for public transpor t and improve the existing green areas actually in poor conditions.

La Par t-Dieu Shop p i ng Ma l l

This project was conceived by MVRDV to transform the city ’s Par tDieu shopping center. It focuses on preser ving the center ’s original identity while redefining its public spaces and revitalizing its “iconic” facade. The con cept intends to modify the building’s edges by creating an “evaporation effect” as it reaches the street. This will make a more inviting atmosphere that extends the public realm into the center. In a move to enhance and improve on the existing identity of the Par tDieu development, the current façade pattern will be revitalized and reproduced over the new structure, through the gardens and even throughout the carparks. In order to maintain the identity of the shopping centre, and at the same time tr y to reduce the construction footprint of the building, the existing façade panels will be reused and redistributed throughout the design.

Location Lyon, France Year 2019 Work developed for: MVRDV France

During my time working in MVRDV, par ticular y in La Par t Dieu project, I had the oppor tunity to develop my skills in BIM and other skills such as rendering, and above all the procedures and methods of work in France in this scale of projects. Integrating this office has given me a broader vision regarding the scale of the project and its program. The different ways of work, which var y from the projects I have previously collaborated.

The railroad of the site was before a functional link to the Industrial Plateau. Today, disused, it becomes a new place for the gentle mobility of the new neighborhoods being developed. Beyond a functional path, we conceptualized this piece as a string of places, squares, and gardens: The spaces not built are unfenced are joined to create a linear park. This por tion of the Transagglo is developed to create a stroll gardens with a var ying thicknesses, creating places of private and public uses that are unified by a belt of green spaces. In the hear t of the park. an identity line is created. This linear mobility track creates this new central park for the neighborhood. It hosts on a shared mode, cycle and pedestrians on 3.60m on its majority. Per fectly smooth and clear, it unfolds in sanded limestone concrete, drained by a dr y canal of calcareous gravels. The path comes alive with a band equipped with benches, tables, planters, bikes accessories... bringing a real neighborhood destination, in the hear t of this active park.

The railroad of the site was before a functional link to the Industr ial site of Fribourg. This space is currently disused. In order to create a new space for the neighborhood a mobility belt is proposed to connect all the places, squares, and gardens located in the inter vention zone. This will be par t of the Transagglo mobility system.

C2D

Grap h i c and i n t e r i o r d e s i gn “C2D is an office dedicated to the development of residential, commercial and office real estate projects. Based on the ideology “Concept to Deliver y ” C2D integrates all the processes within the projects, from the conception and conceptualization of the business, to the final deliver y of the product, always finding the best solutions in the most efficient way.” I had the oppor tunity to work during a year in this office, between the projects i developed, i had a real approach and exploration developping graphic design projects. The first project, D60, is developped for an office building. I conceived the design of the visual identity, the signage, the interior design of the lobby and the typologie of an office distribution. For the design simple materiales were chosen: wood and metal are two material that ca n be mixed together to c reate a modern and warm atmosphere.

Location Mexico City, México Year 2017 Work developed for: C2D Desarrollo | Arquitectura

Among other works that I realized during my job at C2D: Logo design for a new company called APEX. Communication and editorial project for C2D: - Creation of website and social media management (facebook & inatagram). - Photographie of realized projects. - Editorial edition of C2D’s por tfolio: Book design layout llustration of plans and sections Photography Maps
