New Version: Pinocchio
Everybody knows the story of Pinocchio but we are going to tell you the true one. Once upon a time there was a painter called John. He had no family and friends so he felt very lonely. One day as he was walking along the street, he saw a toy shop. He decided to go in and look for some wooden toys. Suddenly he saw a lonely wooden doll hidden behind an enormous white teddy bear. He couldn`t believe his eyes when he saw such a delicate piece of art and he immediately fell in love with it. He bought it and went home happily. John called the doll Pinocchio. He loved his new toy but he considered that it needed to be painted. John went to the garden shed to fetch some paint and his paint-brush but he couldn´t find the brush. He searched everywhere but he still couldn´t find it. He decided to buy one so he went shopping. Back at home with all the elements ready
he started painting Pinocchio. It was already 8:00 pm when he finished doing so. John was very tired so he left a mess and went to bed. The following day John woke up and went to the painting room to see Pinocchio, but to his surprise. He wasn´t there. He was desperate so he started searching everywhere. When he went into the kitchen he saw Pinocchio washing the dishes. John was paralyzed!!! Was Pinocchio a doll or a living thing? He was a little afraid but he was happy at the same time. He had always wanted to have a son and Pinocchio was there, just as a son helping his father. It was then when John realized that the brush was a magic one. They hugged and talked a lot about John´s life. They were FAMILY and this made them very happy. John bought two tickets to go on a ship cruise and they went on their first
holiday together. All the passengers stared at them with strange faces but they didn’t care. They had a great time playing and walking around. One day they heard a strange noise. The wind was blowing roughly and people started to become nervous. The ship crew started to evacuate the passengers. It was a tsunami. John put Pinocchio on a life boat, but he couldn`t get on one because there were not enough boats. Pinocchio was safe but John had probably drowned. A few days later Pinocchio saw a blue whale swimming in the sea. The whale started to move strangely. It made some wavy movements. All of a sudden it opened the mouth and John could be seen running along the tongue diving into the sea. What wonderful news for Pinocchio. They were together
again and went on with their family life. They lived happily ever after.
