1. Describe how you and your partners worked on this assignment. Describe the work that you did together and individually with your partners for this assignment. My group and I were very organized and democratic about this project. We were easily able to find times to meet every week and we quickly chose which duties we were each personally responsible for. We arranged to meet at St.Martins and create our powerpoint presentation, as well as run through our presentation to make sure that it met the specific time requirements. I myself was responsible for writing the test and for talking about the copyright portion of the lesson as well as using glogster as an educational tool. For the following two weeks, we would arrange meeting times and practice our presentation. 2. Did you feel your lesson plan and presentation were effective? Did your team achieve what they wanted to accomplish? Did you achieve what you wanted to accomplish? I think that our team did a wonderful job of presenting the information to the class. We were confident and spoke calmly and clearly in order to effectively comunicate the material. I think that Allie may have been a little flustered after her pen didn't work, but she worked very hard on the presentation and contributed invaluably to our group. We were able to make the lesson interactive and even incorporate elements which appealed to kinaesthetic learners. I wanted to be able to keep the class engaged throughout the lesson, a goal which I think I acheived, especially by ending with the Hugh Jackman video. 3. How did you feel before, during, and after your class presentation? Why did you feel this way?

Before the group presentation I felt sick to my stomach with nerves because I suffer from moderate performance anxiety. After seeing how much my classmates really wanted me to succeed, I allowed myself to relax and enjoy the lesson. Once the lesson was over, I felt proud of all that my team and I had accomplished and was able to feel more confident in my teaching abilities. 4. What were the strengths/weaknesses of your collaborative presentation? What were the strengths/weaknesses of your individual presentation skills? I think that over all we presented very well as a group. We listened to each other and were able to transition between each persons segment of the presentation with few hiccups. Our regrouping after the failure of Allie's pen could have been executed with more grace, but we did recover. I think that I need to work on my time management skills, as I could have talked for another 30 minutes if left to my own devices. I think that I was very successful in maintaining the attention of the class. 5. Describe what you would do differently if you could change your presentation. Why? I wish that we could have had the time to allow each student to have created their own glogster account. I think that they might have felt more of a sense of accomplishment. I also wish that we had prepared more interactive smart board games to play with the class as this tool will most likely be prevalent in the schools where they will eventually be employed.
