SO IT HAPPENS THAT EVERY YEAR, FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS, AROUND AUGUST 15TH, FRIENDS, PARTNERS,ARTISTS, MEDIA, FASHIONISTAS AND SPORTS LOVERS GATHER AT THE TUDOR RESIDENCE TO CELEBRATE, PLAY AND WATCH TENNIS. On August 15th 1999, Paul Tudor, funder of Besta Sports Club, organized a tennis tournament on the occasion of Saint Maria, inaugurating the tennis court. Here we are fifteen years later planning the big one five edition. The tournament lasts about one week. Saturday to Friday the players meet after work to score points and to battle to get into the final. The games become tougher and more intense by the year. Saturday is the big day! The custom is that players and guests arrive around 18h. The evening starts with a demo by professional tennis players. After watching a set of ‘how its supposed to be done’, the finalists step in. They play. And play. And sometimes even argue. The public is picking sides and placing bets. By the final game of the Set, everyone is anxious, nervous, maybe a little hungry, and excited. Match ball. Game. Set. Match. We have a winner!!! We take group photos, interviews, more photos, speeches and congratulations. The Tudor Tennis Trophy is awarded to the winner along with the prizes, which are donated to important causes. Celebratory party starts! All the contestants, guests, media, sponsors, organizers move over to the pool area where the buffet is hot and the drinks are cold. The music is playing, the photos are being projected, the surprises keep coming. We look forward to having you as a member of our team! Besta Sports Club
This years’ dates are 10-17 August Players The players are friends and partners of Besta Sports Club. Each year we receive more and more applications for the tournament. All players who sign up get a chance to play, reason why we organize the qualifications day. Partners & Sponsors We call our usual partners & sponsors to remind and tell them about the new ideas we have for this year’s edition. Guests The guest list for the event comprises of 150-200 people: business men and women, diplomats, bankers, lawyers, artists, journalists and other personalities from the public and private sector. Media Along with the players and sponsors comes the media. This year, Tudor Tennis Trophy is closely working with sports, fashion and life style publications. TTT final and after-party Fifteen years of tennis at the Tudors – we’ll party like it’s 1999. Be prepared for an exciting evening!

give and you’ll receive... For the past 15 years Besta Sports Club has been supporting causes and projects by raising funds at the Benefit organized at the end of each edition of TTT. With our partners’ help we successfully managed to raise considerable amounts, which were directed to cultural projects or humanitarian causes. This year, Besta Sports Club together with the Romanian Tennis Federation, will organize a fund raiser for a young and talented romanian tennis player. Also, guests are encouraged to donate their old tennis rackets which will be distributed by the Romanian Tennis Federation to upcoming tennis players. At the 15th TTT final, which will take place on August 17th, our partners will exhibit art, fashion, jewelry, furniture and other romanian creations.
Demo match between Bogdan Borza (European and national junior champion – 16 years old) and Andras Szekely (multiple national champion and 1100 ATP – 18 years old). Thanks to the support of our sponsors who donated gifts, we organized a raffle to raise funds for the two Romanian junior champions in order to support their activities.

Tudor Tennis Trophy, o traditie de 15 ani “In anul 1999 am organizat prima editie a tuneului Tudor Tennis Trophy, ocazie cu care am inaugurat Tudor Tennis Arena. Dintr-o joaca, am ajuns sa organizam si sa sarbatorim anul acesta cea de a 15-a editie TTT. De-a lungul anilor, meciurile au devenit din ce in ce mai interesante, partenerii si sustinatorii turneului s-au inmultit, iar cauzele caritabile pe care leam promovat au beneficiat de o sustinere importanta.
