Mark your calendars, Interfilière Shanghai & Shanghai Mode Lingerie, 10th anniversary! Celebrating their 10th anniversary, Interfilière Shanghai & Shanghai Mode Lingerie, are back on October 20-21, 2014 at the Shanghai Exhibition Center with a complete offer of intimates and swimwear and new exciting events adding value to these leading events! Over the past 10 years, Interfilière Shanghai has grown progressively, multiplying the participating exhibitors by five whilst the trade visitors have doubled reaching 7.300 visitors from 60 countries in 2013. As the number 1 intimates and swimwear sourcing platform in China, 61% of the 269 exhibitors in 2013 were mainland Chinese companies from across 7 product-based sectors including fabrics, accessories, embroidery, lace, OEM/ODM, machinery & technology. The event also offers a good representation of Chinese and international press and trend agencies. Since 2005, Shanghai Mode Lingerie has been an excellent host for 250 Chinese and international brands bringing together the leading distributors in Asia with the local and international brands looking to grow their footprint within Asia and build on their international brand recognition. Not forgetting that the shows initially started spread over 2.500sqm, covering more than 16.000sqm in 2013. These figures call for a celebration! For the 2014 anniversary edition, Eurovet is doing an in-depth study of the major Asian markets including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Pakistan, Indonesia and Thailand. Herewith panel discussions will be held in 6 cities and capitals; Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Seoul, Tokyo and Taipei. The first results will be released during Interfilière Paris and Mode City Paris Salon de La Lingerie & du Swimwear on 5-7 July, 2014 before the grand unveiling on October 20-21 at Interfilière Shanghai and Shanghai Mode Lingerie during some expert conferences and round table discussions.


The expertise of Eurovet gathered since its inception over 50 years ago has positioned its shows globally as the must-attend events as they bring together all the top buyers and manufacturers worldwide giving the attendants the advantage and added value needed in the global economy. Alongside the research, the shows will be celebrated with festive networking events where exhibitors and visitors that have been part of this success will be thanked for their continuous support. After 10 years, a tribute will be paid to the companies that have grown with the shows. Several special events will take place at different locations during the 2 days bringing everyone a sense of happiness, friendship and surprise.

INTERFILIÈRE SHANGHAI WHAT IS NEW THIS YEAR? Following the success of last year with a growth of +7.4% exhibitors clearly spread over the 7 product-based sectors, the 2014 edition will grow even further covering the Dome Hall on top of the already 3 other halls. The Dome hall will be occupied by the fabrics sector which has been the largest sector with 37% of the total offer. Building on the swimwear and beachwear focus and demand of the trade visitors, Interfilière Shanghai will hold for the first time, 2 trend forums. One will be focused solely on intimates and loungewear whilst the other forum will have a swimwear and beachwear focus. The trends for Spring/Summer 2015/16 will be exquisitely presented across those 2 exceptional happenings. With the growth of the show on an international level, Interfilière Shanghai will host a German pavilion which will also be covering Shanghai Mode Lingerie brands.

SHANGHAI MODE LINGERIE WHAT IS NEW THIS YEAR? Succeeding the achievement of the last edition, Shanghai Mode Lingerie is moving back into the Central Hall where it can welcome more local and international brands. This will give the local and already well-represented international brands in China and Asia the chance to have a larger and more decorated booth in order to gain more brand recognition from among the top agents, distributors and department stores visiting the show. The feedback received from the participating international brands of the business lounge format with B2B meetings was remarkable and therefore this edition, Shanghai Mode


Lingerie is again offering a business lounge to the brands who want to benefit from the B2B program put together by Eurovet. For those B2B meetings taking place in the business lounge, a dedicated meeting program is put together and VIP buyers from across Asia are personally invited to meet with the brands. Additionally, the collaboration with Shanghai Fashion Week is ON again and it will be magnified with several fashion shows during the 2 days! The Gala fashion show hosting VIP buyers, designers and retailers will be held on the first evening of the show (October 20) and will be covered by the big public media in China and Asia.

Across both shows, Interfilière Shanghai and Shanghai Mode Lingerie, there will be once again a full seminar program covering hot industry topics and the market research done by Eurovet. Additionally, the organiser is putting in place a more educational angle for the exhibitors and visitors who are interested in attending workshops. A workshop is an instructive and informative seminar which can be customised for a company and its entire team on the requested topic in order to bring value-adding support a company might need. The other type of workshop being organised by Eurovet will be open to a selective group of participants from different companies who are interested in a specific topic. From research the 2 most anticipated topics are brand building and trend spotting.
