WePhoto Landscapes 2016, Vol 5 Dear all, I am very proud to introduce our new collection ‘The Series’. It was not so long ago that we had launched the first eBook that included the photographic work of the 22 administrators, who at that time were con-tributing to manage the ‘WePhoto’ group. Since then, we have published more than 50 eBooks, Editorial Team / Readazione Mario Bunčuga: Editor Mario Bunčuga: Art Director Pankaj Anand: Proof Gianluca Di Leonforte: Portrait Group Leader

a special edition work called ‘Calendar 2015’ and two ca-lendars in 2016. The Series is made up of different eBooks, each of them related to a specific photographic genre. The one in your hands is the fifth thematic book on Landscapes Photography. Every year we bring together the best authors from Italy and abroad sharing their works at our WePhoto Group. This sequence of the finest images in Landscapes is a result of same endeavour from us. This one is the fifth volume of Landscapes Series. We ho-pe you will enjoy their art, subscribe to our editions and help us spread the word.

We are so excited and happy to be able to collect such beautiful images and, most of all share them with a wide audience. Please spread it across by sharing, and recommend wherever you can to download these free eBooks from our webpages and links below. Landscapes One may be curious why a 100 people sitting at the edge with cameras in their hands would love clicking the same sunset that occurs almost every next day. Will not all these images look the same when processed. Well, one possible reason could be that nature is as dynamic as it is static. Also there is abundant beauty in nature and you will always feel like belonging no matter how long you continue looking at it. But the foremost reason that comes to my mind is that it brings about a strong emotion that you can pick a piece of the spectacle, create it your way and you become the owner of your own universe. You could do the same with painting with even more freedom and control but here you are appreciating the real world that you live in. The pleasure of actually having been there to witness it is as real as the scene before you. The air, the fragrance, the color and the touch is more than the worth of effort that goes into reaching there and taking your own photo. Money can buy you acres of land but here the whole planet is yours. You add or avoid elements, shift angles and choose your points of view to make your compositions unique, something more than a record shot, something no words can describe.

Such is the collection we present before you that will make you feel as if you actually were there and you will love watching it as much as we did making it. Mario BunÄ?uga December 2016

GALIP ÇETINER Bursa, Turkiye

galipcetiner@gmail.com www.galipcetiner.com 500px.com/galip_cetiner www.facebook.com/galip.cetiner

Specialized in landscape & infrared photography, Galip continues to try out different kinds of photography including people, urban life & conceptual. As his own introduction says: “I think the beauty of photography is that by noticing an environment or an object, you can then follow the very different characteristics of each of them, and perhaps discover the beauty of living in that particular moment again, even more than the feeling of “current time”.

With photographs, we can relive the moment and taste once again the momentary excitement of life, so it's a kind of immortalizing moment.” Photography to Galip is also a task, to show the wonders of the world to people who cannot see, given the clues about nature, by showing a different view of creation and the surrounding area to find everything in this world which needs to be discoveredOne great philosopher said that “A person who sees the good in things has good thoughts. And he who has good thoughts receives pleasure from life”.Infrared photos in this portfolio have been taken on 720 & 590nm infrared modified cameras, so the color’s differ because of the wavelengths of infrared rays. 46

I considers photography as the art of making the invisible visible, of bringing to light what we do not see but which is true. I think it comes from making the continuous discontinuous, using a frame. As a Town Planner, I am interested mainly by everyday places, compared to celebrated places. I believe there are no trivial places. I think the only thing trivial is the way to look at them. I love the light of the night and of the morning. I like the border between land and sea, between the world of reality and that of reflection. As a fisherman, I get up early, I try to study the places and be patient, waiting for that perfect moment to hunt quickly and precisely – capture an image. 58

BENEDETTO FERLITO Catania, Italy

500px.com/benedettoferlito www.flickr.com/photos/123729421@N02 www.facebook.com/ferlitobenedetto www.nikonphotographers.it/benedettoferlito

Born in Acireale (CT) July 6, 1974 Ferlito Benedetto lives and works in Catania. A predisposition for landscapes led him to devote himself to amateur photography for about 6 years, but then came a turning point, when he met a mentor and friend who helped him to improve his shooting techniques and to smoothen the rough edges of his work. Benedetto, thus began a journey of research and self study which enabled him to grasp the beauty of landscapes, interpret the colors and project them with emotion.

The purpose and sense of self create the desire to excite the viewer to accompany him out of the chaos of everyday life and make them rediscover the joy and serenity that only a photo can bring. Benedetto has exhibited his images in several solo and group exhibitions. His images have been published in prestigious monthly magazines such as THE PHOTOGRAPHER, N-PHOTOGRAPHY, PROFESSIONAL PHOTO, Fotocult and others. He is often solicited as a photojournalist to document events in the province of Catania. Author of several photographic articles published online on NIKON SCHOOL. Since two years, Benedetto is experimenting with fashion and portrait photography, with the technical collaboration of various photographic studios in Catania. 70

Maurizio Grasso was born 46 years ago in the Province of Catania in Sicily. I look in the way of photography at the turn of the era of analog and digital taking me behind all that good analog taught us. Are primarily a self-taught paper and digital experience and training have increased the bases in the photographic field. Of photography I like the landscape and nature in all its aspects fact Landscape and seascape are the areas where I express myself better. I like to capture the movement and then long exposures are what I prefer thanks to the use of filters is that ND sloping because I like give dynamism to my shots. Often I do not dwell only on the Landscape, but also the portrait is one area that I like. Sharing in photography has always been my thinking because through that I met many fans of which I have learned and I delivered what photography it is. Sicily is my land, and is immortalized by me as a way to spread its beauty to make it known to those who have never approached it. Thanks to WePhoto and its director Mario BunÄ?uga for giving me the opportunity and space in this wonderful initiative. 82
