WePhoto Landscapes 2017, Vol 7

Dear all, I am very proud to present this collection we fondly named as ‘The Series’. Editorial Team / Readazione Mario Bunčuga: Editor Mario Bunčuga: Art Director Pankaj Anand: Review Associate Gianluca Di Leonforte: Landscapes Group Leader

Not very long ago we had launched our first eBook that included the photographic work of our 25 administrators, who at that time were contributing in the affairs of ‘WePhoto’ group. Since then, we have published more than 60 eBooks, a special edition work called Calendar 2015 and subsequently two calendars of 2016 and 2017. This collection is a set of various eBooks -each related to a specific photographic theme- and including the art work of several authors from Italy and abroad. This is the seventh thematic eBook being published under Landscape Photography.

We are excited and happy to have collected such beautiful images and most of all, sharing them with a wider viewership. Please spread the word across by sharing the link or the downloadable eBook itself, and recommend it wherever you can. The eBook is free to be downloaded and is available at the links given at our webpages. Do leave your feedback on the eStores — a 5-star rating would be greatly appreciated. This is how you may help us grow and share our passion for photography! In this eBook you may also find the links to our Facebook Groups - WePhoto and WePhoto Landscape. Come and join, invite friends to share and enjoy some of the best images from around the world.

Landscapes One may be curious why a 100 people sitting at the edge with cameras in their hands would love clicking the same sunset that occurs almost every next day. Will not all these images look the same when processed. Well, one possible reason could be that nature is as dynamic as it is static. Also there is abundant beauty in nature and you will always feel like belonging no matter how long you continue looking at it. But the foremost reason that comes to my mind is that it brings about a strong emotion that you can pick a piece of the spectacle, create it your way and you become the owner of your own universe. You could do the same with painting with even more freedom and control but here you are appreciating the real world that you live in. The pleasure of actually having been there to witness it is as real as the scene before you. The air, the fragrance, the color and the touch is more than the worth of effort that goes into reaching there and taking your own photo. Money can buy you acres of land but here the whole planet is yours. You add or avoid elements, shift angles and choose your points of view to make your compositions unique, something more than a record shot, something no words can describe.

Such is the collection we present before you that will make you feel as if you actually were there and you will love watching it as much as we did making it.

My name is Razvan Bobeica but everyone calls me Bobby. I was born 33 years ago in the north-east of Romania called Balan. It is primarily a mining town with beautiful landscapes surrounded by mountains. My parents worked in the mines and I spent my childhood playing in the valleys. I started my photographic journey from there with a very rudimentary Panasonic camera at the age of 13, which filled my heart with joy. I had to throw half of my images because of poor quality. But during summers I saved some money from collecting mushrooms and raspberries and bought myself a digital Sony Cyber Shot and that made me really happy. At 18 I migrated to a professional Pentax MZ-50 and later on to Nikon but the life in Romania did not allow me to afford such a sophisticated hobby. Ever since I am living in Italy I have made a good fortune using professional equipments and this has deepened my passion for photography. While taking a photograph I feel like living in another world, another dimension. 10

DAN WHEELER Petaluma , USA

I grew up in a small midwestern town Carey, Ohio USA. I loved the outdoors as a child I enjoyed fishing, hiking, and hunting, I could always be found getting into something as a child. My love for the outdoors has always been strong and my passion for Photography started at an early age. My parents used to have an old 110-film camera that I carried around with me, it never had any film but I would frame images with it. When I finished school I moved to San Rafael, California worked and went to college for Photography. I quickly realized this would be the place I would spend my days in Northern California hiking the beautiful hills and Photographing the beauty the landscapes had to offer. I moved around a lot in those days to San Francisco, Los Angeles, but my heart never left San Rafael, Ca. and the beauty of Northern California. I eventually moved back North after finishing school in Santa Monica, Ca. and landed a job as a Purchasing Manager for a Manufacturing company and my days of photography were pushed aside to make a living. I eventually met my Beautiful wife Loretta and Madison our daughter came along. That is when I picked up my camera again and made the decision to pursue my dream as a Landscape Photographer. 22

EMIL RASHKOVSKI Sofia, Bulgaria

facebook.com/rashkovski.photography instagram.com/rashkovski_photography flickr.com/photos/125009681@N04/

I have always been fascinated by nature and its beauty. Photography is just the instrument that helps me to express the way I perceive it. Photography makes me look for beauty and creativity. I love the creative process, in which I put my own interpretation of the subject while trying to express my feelings about what I see. I like to focus on the fleeting but also most beautiful moments of sunrise, sunset, night lights, starry sky. These transformations are truly magical, showing the eternal cycle when the day dies but is always born again. My name is Emil Rashkovski. I was born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria and my passion for landscape photography started sometime back in 2004. Enchanted by the beauty of nature, I felt the need to reflect its images in some way. Shooting with a camera has turned into something I most enjoy. For me, photography is not just a mechanical application of techniques but an evolving process of creativity. In photography I search for and try to realize the meaning.. to work with my fantasy.. to be creative. For me it is important to continuously develop my abilities to observe and see, to develop my visual awareness and imagination, to play with light and colors, shapes and textures expressing my perception of the surrounding world. 34

I am an avid traveller and a hobbyist photographer who loves to explore new destinations and countries. Photography for me started as a way and means to capture and document my travels. I was always enamored with colorful glittering cityscapes and that passion has transcended my photography. My quest for that perfect picture continues unabated as I continue to learn and experiment. 46

JENNY CAMERON Higlands, Scotland

500px.com/jennycameron2 facebook.com/JennyCameronPhotog

Jenny Cameron, Landscape Photographer living in the Scottish Highlands with her Husband and two dogs. Her passion for the wilderness began from a love of travel & outdoor life. Sadly Jenny was diagnosed with a rare bone disease a few years ago in her hip called Avascular Necrosis. This put an end to her mountain adventures ( hiking, winter climbing, skiing, backpacking to name a few)). She spiralled into a dark place for a short time but thankfully found her solace in landscape photography and her journey began in October 2015 never looking back. 2016 was a great year, several of her images were in three American Art Exhibitions, followed by her first publication on the front cover of Scottish Field Magazine January 2017 issue.’ 58

RUTH CHUDASKA CLEMENZ Finsterwalde, Germany https://www.facebook.com/ruth.chudaskaclemenz https://500px.com/shadows.

Ruth Chudaska-Clemenz - from Germany, live in  Finsterwalde, a small town in Brandenburg I was fascinated about photography very early. My father gave me the first camera when I was about 8 years old. During my high school time I met a professional photographer who showed me the essentials and borrowed the first Nikon to me. He published the first photos when I was 18. Then it was my dream to own a Nikon for myself.

Now, more than 30 years have passed. I did not followhis way to be a professional photographer because I wanted to be free in my decisions what to shoot or not. For me force is the dead of photography. But the fascination for photography never completely left me. Meanwhile I could realize my dreams and after having long experiences with analogue Nikons I changed to the digital ones some years ago.... one of my dreams has fulfilled: I own professional gear and try constantly to improve my skills and to learn every day new and interesting things about photography and post processing. In my usual profession I work as psychiatrist expert testimonies for legal authorities in Germany. 82

VERONICA SAVER Jakarta, Indonesia

facebook.com/veronica.saver

My name is Veronica Saver and I live in Jakarta Indonesia. I took up photography in 2012 after returning to Indonesia from my overseas postings and seeing these lovely images from my friends at Facebook. Soon I started joining them on photography trips in and around Indonesia. Although I started off taking all sorts of images including human interest, night photos, wildlife, macro but my passion goes to landscapes which is dominated by male photographers in Indonesia. Thankfully no one objects a lady loving this genre. I started taking beachscapes and slowly moved forward to include beautiful scenery from the mountains and hills. So here I am, a keen lady landscaper.. 94
