Landscapes Introduction
One may be curious why a 100 persons sitting at the edge with cameras in their hands would love clicking the same sunset that occurs almost every next day. Will all their images not look the same once finished? Well, one possible reason could be that nature is as dynamic as it is static. So every day brings new opportunities within the same canvas. There is abundant beauty in nature and you will always feel like belonging to it no matter how long you continue looking at it. But the reason that comes to my mind and I strongly agree with is that it brings about a strong emotion in you. You can pick a part of the spectacle, recreate it your way and you become the owner of your own little universe. You could do the same with a painting with even more freedom and control but in photos you are appreciating the real world that you live in. The pleasure of actually having been there to witness it is as real as the scene before you. The air, the fragrance, the color and the touch is more than the worth of effort that goes into reaching there and taking your photo. Money can buy you acres of land but here the whole planet is yours. You add or avoid elements, shift angles and choose your points of view to make your compositions unique, something more than a record shot, something no words can describe. Such is the collection we present before you that will make you feel as if you actually were there and you will love watching it as much as we did making it. Mario BunÄ?uga April 2019

AMIT VAKIL Chamba, India
amitvakilphotography@gmail.com facebook.com/amit.vakil.5 instagram.com/amitvakilphotography/
My tryst with photography began when I tried my hand on my dad’s film camera in 2008. Gradually, this hobby turned into a passion, which entered my blood in 2010 when I bought my 1st DSLR. Being a self taught photographer, it has always been a tough task for me since the beginning. Despite it, I never gave up. The only way I found to learn was through my own mistakes. Each picture is a new challenge waiting to be overcome and framed for eternity.
I was very intrigued by travel, landscape and pictures that convey a story. I have always planned my shoot and most of the time I work on a particular theme/series which I choose for myself. Through this series, I have weaved my images of a particular place, people or culture into a story. I believe a good photograph to be the one where the essence of that moment has been captured. I will keep on following my dreams until my last breath, and keep on fanning the flame of photography that burns deep and bright inside me. 10

ELENA SALVAI Carrara, Italia facebook.com/SalvaiElena/?pnref=story facebook.com/elena.salvai.96 instagram.com/elenasalvai.photo/
Born in Carrara, I have always been a great lover of nature and open spaces - elements in perfect harmony with my free spirit. After studying at the university I started trekking in the Apuan Alps. The breathtaking sceneries of these mountains rising from the sea lead me to grow passionate about photography, wherein I find a perfect means to immerse myself deeply in nature and be able to seize certain unrepeatable moments forever. Nature is therefore the absolute protagonist, seen in its most extreme and spectacular moments.
Understanding its strength but also its fragility and consequently the respect we must have for our planet are the main aims of my shots. In addition to publication in many magazines and books, informative evenings and workshops, I have participated in exhibitions such as: Dalmine Maggio Fotografia, International Photographic Exhibition "In search of a lost memory", Tramonti Italiani in Pietrasanta, biennial of Riomagno Fotofestival, Terrasini in Photo 2018, and Rimini, Viareggio, Colle Val D’elsa. Exhibition and popular evening at the Alfieri theatre in Castelnuovo Garfagnana, personal exhibition at Rivanazzano Terme and participation in the Montier International Wildlife Photography Festival in France. 22

FRANCESCO MARINARO Taranto, Italia
www.facebook.com/FrancoMarinaro talassano@hotmail.com
A graduate in Accounting, and currently a public employee, I am an amateur photographer since the days of the film. Photography for me is a starting point for developing cultural and topical projects, rather than an end in itself.
I find training fundamental and I do not hesitate to travel from Taranto, to go to the central and northern Italy in order to attend a course or workshop. I believe the development of a digital negative in software is inevitable and I always use the most advanced photo editing software available to do my work. With a group of friends, we have established a cultural association that uses photography to promote my territory and its cultural and historical resources. In my experience as an amateur photographer, I have always placed man at the center of my attention rather than the technological novelty in terms of photographic equipment. The photos presented here refer to the place in which I live since birth, Talsano (the name seems to be derived from Greek Thalassa) that in the months of spring takes on unusual courses around the sea area. And I wanted to present it to you in this very way34

GIOVANNI SIMONE Roma, Italia
facebook.com/giovannisimone1981 giovanni_simone@hotmail.com
Photography was my first means of traveling; my first camera, bought in a flea market when I was only 13 years old, allowed me to start exploring the world, from my own surroundings to the most remote places. Those beautiful places that I had read about in the books in childhood made me dream about visiting them someday.
"How do you take good pictures? Is a question people ask while attending the courses on photographic techniques, and what is generally explained to them is that photography is nothing more than capturing a moment of light. But in the courses, they sometimes forget to tell that light is a powerful form of energy and one must know how to read and interpret it before trying to capture. That's why the peculiarity of my travel photos is to show the "captured moment" as it is, without any manipulation or alteration in the shot. Each of my photo tries to tell a story of the moment in which it was taken, the memory of a life experience and the beauty of serene places far from the monstrous way of living life. 46

JULIO CASTRO PARDO Coruña, España
I was born in the city of La Coruña (Spain) in September 1985 and am a pharmacist by profession. My fondness for photography was not awakened until the end of 2015 as a result of a trip to the West Coast of the United States where I was amazed by some of the most impressive natural landscapes on the planet. At the beginning, I almost exclusively photographed the night landscapes, although soon after my interest in landscape photography extended to daytime photography.
I currently combine my work life with travels around the world in search of that light that marveled me on that trip that made me discover my passion for photography. I am always trying to show little-known places that help inspire all those who love nature. All this without forgetting my land, Galicia, of whose wonderful snippets I try to show to the world. My photographs have been awarded at some of the biggest photography competitions in the world such as the Trierenberg Super Circuit, the Sony World Photography Awards, the Siena International Photo Awards, the Epson Pano Awards and many others. My work has also been published in media such as the Voice of Galicia, Digital Reel, Night Photographer, Camerapixo, LHN Magazine or the LMF Magazine among others. 58

MASSIMO CERRINI Milano, Italia
instagram.com/maxk03/ facebook.com/massimo.cerrini.9 500px.com/photo/254273089/untitled-by-massimo-max
My name is Massimo Cerrini (Max) and I was born in Milan in 1976. People call me picky in my search for the perfect shot as I don't want to leave anything to chance. At first it was hard being a self-taught photographer but during my journey I have found friends who helped me understand concepts and techniques. The road is long and I will never stop learning and improving.
Alternating between landscaping and macro photography, I love showing the details and what the eye cannot see. Sometimes the end result disappoints me and makes me think that I could do better but it also makes me believe that these mistakes will eventually help me improve my craft. I like traveling to discover new scenarios and capture that unique moment where my eyes are enchanted by the beauty of nature or by what surrounds me. Photography for me is patience, heart and vision. 70

SERGIO BARBONI Macerata, Italia
www.sibillini-mtb.it bikersincresta.com 500px.com/barbonis
I was born in Camerino and had started taking interest in photography from a young age, almost by accident, when a Kodak Instamatic 50 was given to me for the first communion, which led me to have my first photographic experiences, obviously for fun. Later I shot DIA with Olympus XA1 for years to then move on to digital, first with more or less compact compacts, then finally with a dSLR.
Since 2011 I have been shooting with Canon, especially for my mountain bike site and the related blog. I had collaborations with companies in the bike and outdoor sector, the most important of which was with Garmin Italia. The mountains, nature, mountain biking, of course, are my favorite photographic themes; also because I was born near the Monti Sibillini National Park and I've always been to these places that I'm particularly fond of. The proximity to the Umbria region, where I started living after the 2016 earthquake, has enriched my ability to shoot in different but always fascinating contexts, where art and nature come together in perfect harmony, and have made me broaden my photographic horizons without ever having to leave my beloved mountains. 82
