WePhoto “The Series” Reportage Vol 6 Dear all, I am very proud to introduce the new collection “The Series”. It was not so long ago since we have launched the first eBook, including the photographic work of the 15 administrators, who at that time were cooperating in the “WePhoto” group. Since then, we have published 21 eBooks and the Special edition “Calendar 2015” and now two Calendars 2016. This new collection – The Series - is made of different eBooks, each one (or more than one if required) related to a specific photographic theme, including the artworks of several authors from Italy and abroad. This is the sixth eBook of the Ten line of this new collection and has been dedicated to Reportage Photography.

We are all so excited and happy to be able to collect such beautiful images and, most of all to be able to share them with a wide audience. Spread, share, recommend everyone to download eBooks from our webpages and links below. Also make sure to leave your feedback on the eStores – 5 stars comments would be great. RATE IT! You can really help us growing and sharing our beloved passion for photography! In this eBook you can also find the links to our Facebook Group. Come and join, invite friends to share and enjoy some of the best images from around the world!

Reportage . . Since there is Photography, one of the most important, if not the most important use of this form of communication is the documentation of events. From sports to war, from political events and trade to the narration of the common life events, in the streets, in cities, in villages, in the fields. The description of life in its various forms. Story, complaint. This is the last book of Reportages 2016. This is a SPECIAL editions, 9 Authors instead classical 7, Thanks again to all for their AMAZING Images. Mario Buncuga september 2016

DOMINIQUE AGIUS Nice, France

www.da-focus.com

I am a French photographer based at Nice. I started photography at a young age out of curiosity.I studied fine arts where I fell in love with photography. While living for many years in different countries with varied culture (Belize, France, Guatemala, Mexico, Switzerland), I learnt to see the world in a different way, capturing instants that count. I am now a professional photographer and I have my studio in which I also give master-classes on various photography related topics. I also teach in a university and work as an independent photographer for the largest daily newspaper of the south of France. Each year I work on a different project. This year it is « body and motion ». 10

GIUSEPPE D'AMICO L’aquila, Italy www.facebook.com/GDAwildlifephotographer/?ref=hl wildphotographer.it youpic.com/photographer/giuseppedamico9480

For me nature photography is the instrument for exercising the desire for adventure, exploration, knowledge of worlds, people and different cultures, contact with wild nature. In this sense, photography, nature, travel, knowledge of new worlds and cultures are elements that penetrate and integrate to power not only a passion but a real lifestyle. The lens then becomes a weapon with which to fight the habit and banality of everyday life of a modernity that everything is flattening, contaminating, capable of witnessing at the same time the beauty and spiritual values of which creation is the bearer. 34

My name is Monica Bertolazzi, I was born in Milan and I live in Australia since 5 years. The wonderful landscapes and seascapes of my new country made me feel having something to stop the time forever…nature is so beautiful….So I got my first camera and immediately fell in love with this beautiful hobby. Taking pictures is just a way to stop the time and never forget it…it will never come back exactly in that same way….In the beginning I just shot landscapes, but after my first photographic tour in North Vietnam I started to shoot portraits and reportage as well. 46

PANKAJ ANAND New Delhi, India

I believe we photographers have a role to play.. of documenting the world around us and creating art out of this. My interests lie quite much in creating art. Unlike many I luckily have no commercial commitment behind my work and that comes as a big advantage. I do photography for sheer fervor. I sincerely hope my work leads people to appreciate and preserve my little pleasures of life. And I hope it makes them smile. Born and raised in northern part of India, an accomplished educational entrepreneur by chance and an avid art lover by choice, I have widely travelled nationally and internationally, combining wanderlust with my passion for photography.

My efforts have been widely recognized through various forums, publications and exhibitions in India and abroad. I coach photography, mentor and develop new photographers, critique their work, travel enthusiastically across the world, love food and talk to different people and if I could ever save some time from all this, intend to write books on my travel experiences and on techniques I have learned to photograph and post process better. While doing candid portraits, city and nature landscapes and monuments my idea has been to explore different points of view to look at my subjects. Apart from urbanized India the majority of population here lives in villages and comes from their own ethnic environment with individual beliefs, traditions and religions. And that is where they bring all the color from to the canvas. The current work is an attempt to touch the life of people coming from as far as rural parts of Meghalaya, Delhi, Pushkar, Benares, Ladakh etc, by way of their local customs, culture, trade and lifestyle. 58

From Paris to South of France to Miami, from Miami to Tel Aviv, I expressed my art everywhere. First in painting, then in street photography. I track the light everywhere and that moment of fusional love that delivers creativity in me and gives me this personal look of people and cities. My pictures are spontaneous, without post editing, and for a few seconds I have this pleasure and excitation to capture the moment to make it unforgettable. I often tell myself to be lucky to have been there without deciding it, at this place, with this unique light that allows me to give life to my Art. I want to show people in situations that highlight an aspect or different aspects of who they are. The human experience is unique and entirely unpredictable. It’s a fantastic challenge to explore it through photography. 70

VILI GOSNAK Tunis, Tunisia www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1525989413

Birth date: 30.06.1955 Place: Pula, Croatia Nationality: Slovene City of residence: Tunis, Tunisia

I first discovered street portraiture in Tunisia, where we can see such strong face expressions that are impossible to be ignored. Combined with different social layers, the society identification is more than obvious. I have strong personal conviction that it is very difficult to shoot expressions without knowing the population and their habits. We can be technically perfect shooting street in an unknown environment but hardly convincing from the human point of view. Better you know your subject, better street portrait could be achieved. When speaking about expressions, the spontaneity is more than recommended. Said that, I believe that there is almost no time to negotiate with the subject and asking for permission. 94

SERGIO PANDOLFINI Cesena, Italy www.facebook.com/sergio.pandolfini.

I’m attracted by human nature, and this aroused in me two passions: photography and travel.
I plan my trips trying to reach the different from me, to know other cultures, get in touch with communities still living in isolated areas and that still maintain intact their ancient lifestyle. This often leads me to Africa and Asia, lands populated by people proud of their traditions, peoples deprived of almost everything but still able to welcome you with joy and genuine warmth. Needless to deny that often these traditions involving women and children, assigning them roles heavy and hard to accept. These are the people that attract me, faces full of humanity, still able to express genuine emotions without shame. Faces that tell stories, and stories that I love to fix at a picture. 106
