Show rules Exhibitor Information: Stables: Exhibitors to contact WPNEC directly – 03 9741 7672. Facility Fee: Exhibitors will be required to pay the WPNEC Compulsory Facility Fee of $16 per horse per day. Passes: Exhibitors will not be issued with Complimentary Passes. However Exhibitors may purchase an Exhibitors Pass ($30 inclusive of GST) with their entries. An Exhibitors Pass will admit an Exhibitors horse transporting vehicle and its occupants only. Only Exhibitors able to produce an Exhibitors Pass will be allowed entry to the venue at no charge. Where an Exhibitors Pass cannot be produced, the following Admission Charges will apply: One Day 2+ Days Adult: $16 $30 Children (Under 16yrs) $6 $15 Pensioners (with adequate proof) $6 $15 Family (2xAdults, 2xChildren) $35 $50 Please Note: All prices listed above include GST. An Exhibitor pass cannot be obtained at the gate. All Exhibitor support vehicle/s will not be given access to the venue between 6am-6pm daily. See Traffic management plan for further information. Entries/Payments: All horses not registered with AMHS Inc. must have a copy of both sides of the horse's original Registration Certificate accompany the Entry Form with your payment, or the Entry will NOT be accepted. All Entries must be posted (postmarked) by the advertised closing date. Confirmation of entries will be emailed/posted before the show if time permits (there are no refunds). Please make all cheques/money orders payable to AMHS Inc. Entries on the Day: IF Entries on the day are accepted for this event, they will be at double the normal price between 7.30am - 8.30am only. AMHS Inc. Membership Card must be presented to waive additional Insurance Fee. Original Registration Certificates (No Registration Pending) must be presented on the day. For Non AMHS Inc. Registered horses, a copy of both sides of Registration Certificate is to be submitted with your Entry Forms and correct payment. Horses holding a Permanent Height Card MUST be measured if “Entering on the Day”. Registrations: All horses must hold a current registration with a recognised Miniature Horse Association/Society. Pending Registrations with other Associations/Societies will NOT be accepted. Membership: All handlers must be financial Members of AMHS Inc. or pay the $25 day Insurance levy and sign the waiver. This must be done for every show that is entered by non AMHS Inc. Members.

Measuring: All Horses MUST be measured from 7.30am to 8.30am (excludes horses holding an AMHS Inc Height Card) unless otherwise arranged with Show Manager due to unforseen circumstances. Please bring a copy of Registration Certificate to measuring so brands and microchips can be checked. At measuring it is the entrant’s responsibility to record if your horse has changed classes because of a change in measurement. Any horse not measured prior to the show will not be permitted to enter and will forfeit entry monies paid. Height for age rules do apply on all AMHS Inc shows. The Committee will not be held responsible for any horse that misses a class due to height change. It is a condition of entry that you agree that your horse may be tested for drugs. Performance Classes: Horses must be 3 years actual age and over to be eligible to compete in any Senior Performance class (including Show Jumper, 6 Bar and Fault & Out). Horses must be 12 months, actual age and over to compete in Liberty or any Junior Performance classes (including Youth Performance events). Eligibility: Horse must be entered in their respective height for age classes according to their age at 1st August. All horses must show according to the height officially measured. Substitutions will not be accepted. All equipment including halters, sulkies, and harness must conform to safety standards and comply with all insurance obligations.
Protests: General Protests: Any Protest must be submitted in writing and accompanied by a $50 Protest Fee (which will be refunded if the protest is upheld). Any Protest must be lodged within 30 minutes of the alleged incident. Height Protests: All competing horses (with exception of those holding a height recording card) are required to be officially measured and recorded at an AMHS Inc. event (which is to be completed and witnessed by at least two other Members). Protests on horses heights will only be accepted within 30 minutes of the horse being measured (the Protest to be lodged in writing with the $50 Protest Fee, which will be refunded if upheld). Horses may be re-measured twice. The last measurement will be deemed the final height. No Protest will be accepted in regards to a horses height once an AMHS Inc. event commences. Show Rules: All AMHS Inc. Shows are run in accordance with the AMHS Inc. Constitution and Show Rules. It is a condition of entry that you accept these rules and will show in accordance. Any person found in breach of these rules may be disqualified and it may also lead to further disciplinary action.
