Show Entries Close: 5th October 2012 NO LATE ENTRIES AVAILABLE Prices are as follows: AMHS Members: $6 per class plus a Ground Fee of $10 per horse. Non AMHS Members $8. per class plus a Ground Fee of $10 per horse plus $25 Insurance Fee Day Tickets per Horse If you are entering a number of classes per horse, you may wish to consider the Day Ticket Option. We have a Halter Day Ticket which covers classes such as Best Presented, Handler, Halter, Colour, Head and Trot or we have the Performance/Harness Day Ticket which covers such classes as Trail, Hunter, Show Jumper, 6 Bar etc. You do NOT have to buy a day ticket for each horse, you can just pay per class fee as above.
Halter Day Ticket: Members are $35, Non Members $45. This is for Halter ONLY and the price is Per Horse. Performance/ Harness Day Ticket: Members are $35, Non Members $45. This is for Performance Classes ONLY and the price is Per Horse. conditions Entries/Payments: All horses (includes ponies) not registered with AMHS Inc. must have a copy of both sides of the horse's original Registration Certificate accompany the Entry Form with your payment, or the Entry will NOT be accepted. All Entries must be posted (postmarked) by the advertised closing date. Confirmation of entries will be emailed/posted before the show if time permits (there are no refunds). Please make all cheques/money orders payable to AMHS Inc. Day Tickets (per horse/pony): Day tickets are available per horse/pony for those who enter by the 5th October (NO late entries available). Members Day Tickets are $35ea horse /pony and Non Members $45ea horse/pony. This is for halter classes ONLY. Performance and Harness classes will be on a separate Day Ticket ($35 Members, $45 Non Members). You do NOT have to buy a Day Ticket per horse as you can pay per class for each horse if you wish. Registrations: All horses and ponies must hold a current registration with a recognised Miniature Association/Society. Pending Registrations with other Associations/Societies will NOT be accepted. A copy of BOTH sides of Registrations must be sent with your entry form for all horses/ponies not registered with AMHS Inc. Membership: All handlers must be financial Members of AMHS Inc. or pay the $25 day Insurance levy and sign the waiver. This must be done for every show that is entered by non AMHS Inc. Members. Measuring: All Horses (and ponies if required) MUST be measured from 7.00am to 8.00am. Please bring a copy of Registration Certificate to measuring so brands and microchips can be checked. Harness Horses can be measured at lunchtime. At measuring it is the entrant’s responsibility to record if your horse/pony has changed classes because of a change in measurement. Any horse not measured prior to the show will not be permitted to enter and will forfeit entry monies paid. Height for age rules do apply on all AMHS Inc shows. The Committee will not be held responsible for any horse that misses a class due to height change. It is a condition of entry that you agree that your horse may be tested for drugs. Show Rules: All AMHS Inc. Shows are run in accordance with the AMHS Inc. Constitution and Show Rules. It is a condition of entry that you accept these rules and will show in accordance. Any person found in breach of these rules may be disqualified and it may also lead to further disciplinary action.
Non AMHS Members: $8 per Class plus once off $10 Ground Fee + $25 Insurance Fee
Performance Classes: Horses and Ponies must be 3 years actual age and over to be eligible to compete in any Senior Performance class (including Show Jumper, 6 Bar and Fault & Out). Horses and Ponies must be 12 months, actual age and over to compete in Liberty or any Junior Performance classes (including Youth Performance events). Eligibility: Horse and Ponies must be entered in their respective height for age classes according to their age at 1st August. All horses and ponies must show according to the height officially measured. Substitutions will not be accepted. All equipment including halters, sulkies, and harness must conform to safety standards and comply with all insurance obligations. Child Handler Classes: The Child Handler age is of the 1st August for Show Seasons to conform with High Point and not disadvantage any children. Protests: General Protests: Any Protest must be submitted in writing and accompanied by a $50 Protest Fee (which will be refunded if the protest is upheld). Any Protest must be lodged within 30 minutes of the alleged incident. Height Protests: All competing horses (with exception of those holding a height recording card) are required to be officially measured and recorded at an AMHS Inc. event (which is to be completed and witnessed by at least two other Members). Protests on horses heights will only be accepted within 30 minutes of the horse being measured (the Protest to be lodged in writing with the $50 Protest Fee, which will be refunded if upheld). Horses may be re-measured twice. The last measurement will be deemed the final height. No Protest will be accepted in regards to a horses height once an AMHS Inc. event commences. Show Entry Payments: To help make things easier this year we have implemented a Coding system for our Shows, each Show will have a unique Code & will all start with WA (eg WA01, WA02, WA03) when making a payment via direct deposit just add on your Member Number to the end (eg
WA0128, WA0164) so the “28” or “64” identifies who has made the payment & which show you are entering (please note that each show will have a different code after WA to identify the show). If you have any queries, please contact us anytime by: admin@amhs.com.au
