Garbanzo beans are one of the oldest cultivated legume species. Their nutty taste is an excellent flavor addition to salads and soups. They can be served every way you can think of: cold, warm, ground, baked, fried, spiced or roasted. They work especially well in Mediterranean, Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine. Low sodium garbanzo beans have the same taste and feel, but with less sodium, at only 140mg per serving.
