As we all know, many viruses are spread through the air as well as on surfaces. We are all very well-schooled on how to properly clean and disinfect a surface, but what about the air?

Martin Bros. has been approached by several companies offering air purifiers, and we found this one to be at the top of our list!

This system has a four-stage filtration that will eliminate >99% of all tested viruses, bacteria and odors in the air.

One unit covers a 2,150 square foot area and runs quiet at 55 decibels.

The 4 stages of filtration are: 1. Prefilter – catches the larger particles such as hair, fibers and dust 2. Activated Carbon Filter – removes smoke, chemicals, odors and other pollutants 3. HEPA Filter – medical grade filter capable of removing pollutants, fungal spores, viruses and bacteria up to .3 microns in size.

This is where a lot of the competition stops. But some viruses are smaller than .3 microns and can get past the HEPA filter. So, AiroDoctor has a final fourth filtration stage that utilizes UV technology.
