Turkey Sweet Potato & Noodle Soup 1 1/5 lb

Fully Cooked Turkey Thigh Roast Roasted turkey bone stock Leeks, clean, cut in quarters lengthwise, then cut into 1/8 inch slices Celery, 3/8 inch dice Carrots, 1/2 inch dice Sugar, granulated Sweet potatoes, raw, peeled, 1/2 inch dice Spaghettini Fresh baby spinach Salt and pepper Italian parsley, chopped

PREP | Pour the roasted turkey bone stock into a stockpot large enough to hold all the ingredients. Add the leeks, celery, carrots and sugar, then bring to a boil. Lower the temperature and simmer the veggies until they’re firm but cooked. Add the sweet potatoes, turkey and spaghettini, then bring to a boil. Lower the temperature and simmer until the sweet potatoes are tender and the spaghettini is cooked. Stir in the fresh spinach. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper, as needed. Sprinkle the soup with the chopped parsley. YIELD | 4 qts

4 oz Chops made from Smithfield Farmland Fresh Pork Loin (928410) Flour Egg Wash – egg and milk Azar Pecan Pieces (462068), chopped Knouse Musselman’s® Apple Butter (750160)

PREP | In three separate pans or bowls, set up flour, egg wash and pecans. Dredge chops in flour, dip in egg wash, finish with pecans and then place on a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Bake. Top with apple butter before serving. YIELD | 8

PREP | On a flat top or in a skillet, melt butter. Add onion and sauté for 2 minutes. Add cabbage and cook until it becomes soft. Add remaining ingredients and continue to cook until cabbage is tender. YIELD | 8

Crunchy Onion Mashed Potatoes

Mashed potatoes Sour cream Milk Garlic powder FRENCH’S Crispy Fried Onions Shredded cheese

PREP | Mix mashed potatoes, sour cream, milk and garlic powder. Spoon half the mixture into 2-qt. casserole. Sprinkle with 2/3 cup Crispy Fried Onions and 1/2 cup cheese. Top with remaining potato mixture. Bake at 350°F for 30 min. or until hot. Top with remaining 2/3 cup onions and 1/2 cup cheese. Bake 5 min. or until onions are golden.

Driver shortages are adding to the delay in getting product delivered.
