The
Martinhal Group Reviews “Martinhal Cascais … With smart designer villas and swanked-up hotel rooms, this classy family number sits near the beaches of Cascais and the mountains of Sintra and is a mere hop from Lisbon. And it’s from those Portuguese family stalwarts Marthinhal, which means you’re likely to find yourself just kicking back by the pool or slipping into the Finesterra spa, while an army of bright-eyed staff keeps the sprogs happy in the cracking kids’ club.” Tatler Travel Guide, UK, 2017
“Conceived with families in mind, Martinhal Family Hotels and Resorts offer a luxury vacation experience with family friendly facilities in some of the most popular areas in Portugal.” Forbes, 2018
“This relative newcomer to the Algarve, far from the crowds and the concrete, lays claim to a windswept, untouched spot on the western coast with empty, golden beaches, clear blue skies and waves to surf on. While other hotels in the area claim to cater for children (when really their focus is on golf), few do so in the detail-driven manner that is the Martinhal way.” Martinhal Sagres in The Best Family Hotels in the World list Condé Nast Traveler, 2014

Rehabilitation + solving a problem What started out as an identification of a weakness for FDI turned into an opportunity for investment and the Sterns invested in defunct and abandoned industrial buildings to convert into an innovative Education Hub including a worldclass international school. Given the problems of our current times, education is a crucial area to invest time, money and efforts. The Edu Hub is strategically located in a regeneration corridor that captures the spread of Lisbon’s economic activity between the historic centre and Park of Nations.
