The primary school in my hometown,Ichinoe,Edogawa-ku,Tokyo,has 300 people and 2 class rooms each school year. This is a standard kind of Tokyo. There are abundant nature in its surroundings, for example Furukawa riverside park. There are two things which I thought. Frist is how do I bring surrounding nature to the space in the school.Second is How to design that could influence students school life and give them memory.

Katarai-no-mori means forest for talking at the center of the campus of Chiba University is symbol of the camps, and the place of student's rest. The existence of the forest for the university festival on November every year is calmly, though it is symbol of the camps. We thought that it was a cause that the appearance of this forest did not change for the period of the festival. It is the 1:1 installation art to solve the situation from an architectural aspect and to explore the possibility of the space as a work. This installation art made by The volunteer of department of architecture,Chiba university.

Space partitioned with cloth
First of all, we brought together a variety of space images. And,we did competition. Finally, we will make the space by using the cloth.
MATERIAL
The cloth can make the wind visible, and project the shade of a tree, and be appeared the space that lightly penetrates surrounding scenery. We thought people can felt trees, the soil, and the person by the cloth. This installation doesn't show the same appearance for a one day. We named, "White of the continual change" from the appearance.
STUDIES

Idea that freely uses cloth

After having decided the cloth to the material, we studied four type of space. The studes actually used the cloth. (this page introduce three studys)

Ihana campus is located from Chiba Station in the residential quarter of the distance of about 1.5km. It is a campus of the department of the medical treatment such as Department of Medicine,Nursing,Phamacy. The campus is on top of the small hill, and contains a lot of gradual ups and downs.

CIRCULATION
It is possible that there is no place where the student collects in the place where the circulation gather (■) as a cause where each facilities exists as a point. It aimed making the best use of the potential of the site, causing a new the circulation(■), and making the place that became "Hub" of campus activities.
■Building ■Current circulation ■Add circulation
Each facilities exists as a point.
The circulation from each facilities is drawn in the new building.
It opens in all directions.
STUDIES
It groped for a suitable form for "Hub" of campus activities through a lot of model studies. As a result, it was thought that it was important to make the place from one large roof.

T-SA SPRING FORUM SUBJECT :The design of display in book shop SITE

The Theme of T-sa spring forum is "Adaptable Systems” .Project Brief is design of space for famous book shop,Nanyodo in Japan . Before design, we participate two workshops. First is casting workshop. We recognize staff cast as sketch and try to get new idea of design in this workshop. Second is craft workshop. We learned 3 skills; pricking, gilding and Embroidering, to use as new skill when I design. After ws,we separated 5 group to design a series of abstract themes. The theme of our group is “Display” .
Nanyodo book shop
DISPLAY : SYNOPSIS
The intention was to map the current display area of Nanyodo Bookshop and consider a possible intervention to improve or alter the display of the shop. Through measurement and observations we mapped the current display area in different ways. These initially conceptual mapping processes were informed by early casting and drawing workshops. They were idea generators as much as representational techniques. These ideas grew to thoughts about display density and perceptions on surfaces in a volume. Density of data in a space. On books in a shop. Of people in a city. Our intervention hopes to make people aware on how they inhabit the bookshop, and alter their environment. Do we shape the spaces that surround us. Or do they shape us?

I operated circuration at market by steel plates which have many holes. As The Plates cut off people’ s eyes, hole make intarest them a next space. As resulte,The plate moves them like a accelerator, and the market get sparkle.
SITE Site is gate of Haming load where is a old shopping district. Haming load was main street in Chiba. But,Chiba became burnt ruins at the Pacific War. After the war,Chiba was readjusted and The station moved far from Haming Haming Road
