One of the most challenging parts of the design was to keep the water out of the structure of the house, that is why a Concrete pile foundation method was the chosen one, by rising the house through the mountain and attaching the roots of the house directly to the soil, it ensures and protects the structure of the building. In addition, it added a more visual range.
Something that have been considered, was the material selection, since there is a wooded environment, the design was though to have a heavy use of wood - both outside and inside. The exterior uses fire treated cedar siding which is a rating required by local building codes.

To the hard urban concrete space, the Clifford museum open to the pedestrian and to anyone that pas by the corner, like a gasp in the middle of the city, with wide landscaping design and trees at their surrounding provide a comfort, something to contemplate, a decompression, and transition between the external and the internal of the museum labeling a change though the space.
The structure of the building is a landmark, static and straight lines marked by its material (concrete) combined with the landscape design and their different shapes and forms, that play with the shapes produce by the sunlight through the day.

The intention of Novartis is to bring in a level of urbanity to the campus to create an architectural setting that amplifies the frequency of programmed and spontaneous interactions, and in doing so supports innovation and creativity within the collaborative work environment.
The Office Building is designed to operate within a strict geometry proposed by the master plan. Activated by a restaurant on the ground floor, five floors of open office work areas above are connected by an ascending spiral of “living rooms”.
Using Assignment One (A) as a launching point, produce supporting diagrams and an axonometric diagram to identify the major systems of each case study. Some speculation may be necessary, so back up your descriptions by providing technically appropriate explanations.

Using Assignment One (C) as a launching point, utilize the wall section as a base drawing to call out specific details described below. Draw a plan detail and three section details at a scale of 1-1/2” = 1’-0” . Select location of details with instructor, making sure to show the most useful information about the systems and components, while minimizing redundant information.
