Dedication For the past five years Mr. Pitts has served d iligen tÂ ly as yearbook advisor. In this cap acity he has allowed his annual staffs great freedom in ed ito rial decisions, and his photographic ability has aided greatly to the production o f annual pictures.

T here is nothing spectacular about these school buildings;

they certain ly would not win architectu ral awards, and there are undoubtedly other schools with sim ilar acad em ic fa c ilitie s .

It is the hope of the year book staff that this book w ill truly re fle ct the life and personality o f M aryville High; and that through a look at the various elem ents composing M aryville High School, it w ill point out the distinctive characteristics of M aryville High.
